Excellent service and quick delivery
I used it flat towing a full size chevy truck behind motorcoach and it did not do well.
It came apart.
I couldn't rely on the nut on the right with the handle. To make it secure had to tighten the nut on the left side with a wrench.
Item crumpled / broke under towing stresses. The crossbar is a “pot metal” material - not a good selection.
Real fast shipping, and a competitive price. Easy to follow directions and simple installation. This is a great product.
Works well andiseasy to use!
Feels like cheap pot aluminum. Difficult to get tight on hitch. Not easily taken on and off.

Unfortunately, I threw it away months ago. After reading some of the reviews, it see,s to be a common problem for the Dodge Rams.

I recommend taking a look at the Blue Ox Immobilizer part # BX88312 as an alternative.
I was installing this on a 9017 ford f250 With a 8 inch ball mount. The way the handle works I could not get the clamp to tighten enough to stop the rattle. I could only turn the handle 1/2 turns on the flat side of the handle. The only way I could make is work is to remove the handle and install using a nut and lock washer on the handle side.
This product may work well but it did not fit on my 2019 RAM 2500 due to the hitch receiver design (bumper in the way) on the RAM so I can not recommend it for that vehicle.
This item doesn't fit a Ram 2022. You all are charging me return postage! You should tell buyers that this item doesn't fit some hitches.

This fits a 2.5 inch hitch with a collar.
This will not work on a 2022 Ram 2500. The Receiver hitch is tucked up tight against the bumper and recessed. No way this can work.

Since the hitch receiver is recessed then the only anti rattle device that I can recommend would be an anti-rattle lock part # SHP2040-XL. This would work with hitch accessories that have a hollow shank versus a solid shank.
Didn’t work with my ball mount, returned it.
Just what the doctor ordered for keeping my hitch from rattling and/or moving. Easy to install and made a big difference.
Easy to put on, used only one trip and it worked well. Also easy to remove when
receiver needs to removed.
Very disappointed with this product. It's supposedly made for 2 1/2" receiver hitches and it won't hold up to a heavy duty truck. I have a tow bar rated for 1,400 tongue weight and it broke on the first use. I complained to Curt and attempted a refund and all they would do was replace it, and that took 8 months. So I compliment them for standing behind it and replacing it, but that does me no good since it's under rated for my use. I would avoid this unless your tow equipment is very light, which is unrealistic for a 2 1/2" tow bar.

I do have an alternate more robust anti rattle device part # BX88225 to offer. Please take a look at the video link below.

The Curt Anti-Rattle hitch clamp has worked very well once installed. I could not give five stars because it is quite sensitive to get adjusted to work properly and is not convenient to remove regularly when not needing a trailer hitch on my truck. I will be removing the clamp after I have no need for the snowmobile trailer in spring. It has not been needed for the weight distribution hitch on the travel trailer. 2021 Chevy Silverado 2500HD.

The device worked as promised but I am quite disappointed with how quickly it started to rust which then made for difficult adjustment or removal to change hitches for my various trailers.
Hopefully this helps the rattle thanks!
easy to install.
Not super thrilled- after checking it going down the highway it had shifted and I was still getting jerking motion. Did not have a wrench so I had to deal with the bouncing. Super tight fit trying to screw the nuts onto the U-bolt. 3500 Ram Dually 2018
It does stop the rattle. I did however have troubles with it coming loose constantly, until I replaced the nut with regular locknuts and welded additional key stock to my receiver.
Worked fine on my SUV retaing and quieting the noise, but when I tried to us it on my RV's 2" Reese receiver, it broke retaining my tow bar assembly. Probably needed an all-steel unit in that application.

Unfortunately unit is not heavy-duty enough for use on my motorhomes hitch with my towbar attached. Too much force apparently for use in that application.
Does not fit a 2021 Ram 2500. The safety chain hooks prevent it from working properly.
This will not work for a 2026 Ram 3500. I am not sure how you will be able to figure out ahead of time if the clearance between receiver, hitch and bumper will allow this to attach properly but definitely consider before purchasing. I have attached a photo for reference (does not fit these clearances). Also with having to pay shipping to return this, it’s not worth the effort for $3-4. You will likely be keeping it.
Well built but cumbersome to put on and take off. Both nuts have to be removed to install and remove. Great for those who leave their hitches on. Not so much if you pull a camper and take your hitch off when you stop.

You mentioned that it was difficult to tighten on the hitch and to remove. I wanted to see if you could send a picture of it on the hitch?
