Hello, neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking at our Blue Ox trailer hitch receiver locks for a 2-1/2 by 2-1/2 inch trailer hitch receiver. Now, folks, these do lock your Blue Ox tow bar to the receiver. They're constructed and forged. They're machine hardened steel. They have a nice chrome finish on.
It's gonna resist corrosion and rust. And as far as some dimensions, I was getting overall about 7-3/4 inches long. The pen diameter here was right at 5/8 of an inch. And then the usable span here that you can actually use is about 4-3/8 inches. Now they are lockable.
You're gonna get two pins with two keys each. You simply pop off the protective rubber top up here like so. Then you just put the key in, unlock it, it comes off. You can slide that through the tow bar to the receiver, and then when you're done, lock it back in place and close the rubber protective cover. Very simple design.
