The Mercedes GLS install is not for the feint of heart. Thankful for the YouTube video that showed where all the clips and screws were. Did the trailer light conversion kit too. I was dreading putting the bumper/facia back on and was surprised and pleased that it snapped back into place easier than it came off.

Hey Larry! I'm sorry to say the EcoHitch # EH55SR is not a fit for the AMG 53 Coupe models. The only compatible hitch is the Stealth Hitches Hidden Rack Receiver # SH99MR. This also has a removable receiver and is designed to handle accessories up to 600 lbs. If you are planning on towing you need the # SH62TR which includes the towing kit.

Hi Jon; a lot of the EcoHitch instructions aren't listed online so I will have to send you the instructions for the # EH55SR in a separate email. Since this is the style that removes and replaces the bumper cross member it is pretty extensive, but it's definitely doable if you don't want to pay someone to install it.

There is no drilling required but you do have to completely remove the bumper to install the hitch. You also need to permanently remove the impact structure under the bumper. Availability Of Trailer Hitch For 2022 Mercedes Benz GLS63 AMG
Hello Brian, thanks for reaching out. Sadly, the Stealth Hitch # EH55SR will not fit the 2022 Mercedes Benz GLS63 AMG. This hitch is only confirmed for the GLS450 model. At this time, Stealth Hitch does not make anything for the 2022 GLS63 AMG. If you need to carry cargo, the only option would be to have a welder fabricate a custom hitch for you, or to use a roof rack and roof mounted cargo carrier.
