Today we're going to be taking a look at RoadMaster's line of custom seat adapters for the BrakeMaster braking system. You'll want to use our fit guide to determine the appropriate seat adapter for your vehicle.This custom seat adapter provides an anchor point for your BrakeMaster supplemental braking system. The BrakeMaster cylinder extends, pressing your brake pedal, and it needs something else to push against. This provides an anchor point for it to push against. As every vehicle is different, RoadMaster has a complete line of custom-fit brackets to ease the installation of your BrakeMaster system.The included hardware will allow you to easily attach the bracket to the base of your seat. The anchor point here at the center of your bracket is going to give you an attachment point for your BrakeMaster system.
It'll allow it to pivot, to make it easy to get the proper adjustment for your cylinder to your brake pedal. The custom bracket remains hidden, so when not in use you won't even know it's there.Our customer Chuck M. had to say, "The RoadMaster seat mounting plate for the breakaway system is a must. I do not recommend using the plate that requires drilling into the floor when you can use this adapter and save time. It does not get in the way when not in use.

The product is fine. Shipping took 5 days longer than expected. The biggest issue is when I went order I was told I had the wrong seat bracket in my cart so I switched it to the one Etrailer recommended. Turned out I had the correct one all along and Etrailer said I had to pay for shipping the wrong part they recommended back.

I purchased this seat adapter for the RoadMaster air brake system for my 2014 F150. The seat adapter is required for proper positioning of the air brake cylinder. The etrailer web site was helpful in identifying the correct part number and this part was delivered to my home quickly. I have not yet installed the seat adapter but the instructions seem straight forward.

I tried two months ago complaining about the rust on my new system after one year of ownership and I live in a dry climate and I purchased the jacket (which I use) was quickly emailed by Clayton O of etrailer asking for pictures. I sent Clayton O numerous pictures.
I have emailed etrailer Clayton O since then (due to no reply) and he says nothing.
I’ve spent my hard earned money occasionally at etrailer when the need arises. One time I have disappointment, they appear to reach out, then nothing, thanks to Clayton O.

Roadmaster was real slow with the delivery of the seat adapter. But Michael kept me informed all the way through to the delivery. etrailer is 5 stars all the way from start to finish. I look forward to using them in my orders to follow.

RM-643 safety cables quality is good work fine Delivery was fast
RM-9160 brake master system Love this system instructions were easy to follow
RM-15267 toad tail light/brake wiring good instructions for install
RM-1550-1 base plate good instructions for install except you need to drill two 1/2'' holes you must measure and mark as there is no pilot hole.
The whole system works great with the 2008 Honda Pilot
RM-88189 seat adapter I have yet to install as I had to make up my own for the trip.
I will say the seat adapter bracket is made just for the Honda and Acura, they had to make custom make. Thanks to all the car towed great for my first trip of 1,100 miles

Your customer service leaves nothing lacking, and this follow-up from you is so out of character for the many web sites I have purchased from over the years. I am impressed by you and your company.
I bought the tow bar and the brake system for my Equinox, and installed them my self (I am 70 years old) - and with your provided instructions and video, I had no problems (even though I was surprised by the number of parts and detail that went into the assemblies).
Both systems have worked very well, with no problems. I am completely satisfied with them, and have told my friends and traveling acquaintances about your company.
