I bought these doors thinking that i could keep them in the jeep and run doorless all the time weather permitting. I ordered them a couple weeks before a trip and they didn't show up until the week after. The passenger door installed without issue, the drivers side was/is a mess. I have been fitting doors on jeeps for 15 years and could not get it to adjust and latch correctly. I determined that the weatherstripping was causing problems and the latch was not working. After going back and forth with etrailer a couple time they sent me a new latch. I made it work but not as it should.
The doors do store nicely behind the front seats and are lightweight. THEY DO NOT KEEP OUT RAIN. They leak at the top and at 30+ mph they start to flex outward at the top. It keeps me dry for the most part. My jeep has no carpet and is lined with bed liner, so a little water doesn't bother me, but if you have carpet the water will cause rusty floorboards. These doors would be great if they fit better and sealed up.
The top and doors fit realitivlywell considering my Jeep has a fiberglass body I’m happy with the product The handling of my order and shipping was done well Thanks Guys
