Excellent product, easy install. Self installed using online video. Minor modifications to vehicle. Used to tow uhaul car transport over 1500 miles. Wish the product came with a cover for the receiver when nut in use. Overall very satisfied.
Totally satisfied with trailer hitch and installation was easily completed. Wiring harness was a more difficult to install than hitch
Great customer service and quick delivery! It wasn't difficult to install, but do not destroy the box when opening. It will be handy when installing trailer hitch.
Well the installation is complete and it went very smoothly, no binding with the rear fascia brackets that I read about in some of the reviews. The nut bolts attached to the frame are a narrower thread which made them more difficult to start. I had to clean them out with a wire brush as your instructions mentioned...once cleaned they bolts threaded very easily. And the other bolts provided in the kit were a snap to install...total time was under 30 minute for me.
Great quality product at a reasonable price. I plan to use this to attach my bike rack to for my family of four. Delivery date was exactly as promised. I would definitely order from etrailer.com again.
Ordered this around 11a one day and it was on my porch the next. I installed it myself in about 20 minutes. Quality is excellent. This is for the 2012 and up but I have a 2009 RDX and will be used just for a bike rack.

I ordered this Curt trailer hitch receiver to pull a small utility trailer behind my Acura RDX. Since I only pull the trailer a couple of times a year, I was concerned that the receiver would look out of place on a vehicle that is more sporty than utility. I didn't need to worry at all as the receiver is made to fit the vehicle perfectly and looks great installed! The process for installation couldn't have been easier--four bolts, connect the wiring harness, and the job was done. The installation instructions included details specific to my vehicle and had pictures that clearly showed the steps required. This wasn't a "one size fits all" product, it was designed for my vehicle and the results are exactly what I had hoped for.
Perfect hitch to make your SUV/CUV much more versatile. Install was handled easily by my mechanic in one hour. I use it primarily with my Allen three bike rack and the with stabilizer strap from Curt, the setup couldn't be more rock solid. Well constructed and should last quite a while.

One year in, and the hitch is still working out perfectly. I keep the bike rack on during the summer months and it remains stable the entire time. Would purchase this hitch again for any other vehicle that needed it.
Installation on my 2012 RDX was significantly more involved than the video because the bumper fascia brackets prevented the hitch brackets from lining up with the pre-drilled holes in the frame. It might be possible to install the hitch after *carefully* bending each fascia bracket the 1/2" necessary for the hitch clearance, but I wanted to avoid damage to the bumper fascia so I removed it. I'd rate installation difficulty higher than 4 out of 10. Etrailer.com Tech Support was very responsive and I had the hitch installed in time to pick up my "new" 1979 Hobie 14.

Hello Andrew,Thank you for your review. I am facing exactly the same problem with my 2012 RDX. The holes in the frame and in the receiver are misaligned by about 12. Did you bend the brackets after removing the fascia in order for the receiver to fit? Was it difficult to reinstall the fascia?Thank you,Petr in Mass.
Extremely fast shipping, directions were easy to follow and installation was very easy, about an hour. Highly recommend for 2011 Acura RDX!
Fits like a glove. Install took longer than expected though because the first few threads for bolts to the frame were pretty rusty. Something to be aware of.
