When we installed the Curt Hitch part # C13154 on a 2011 Acura RDX we found that from the top of the hitch opening to the ground the distance measured was 12 inches. Since the hitch opening is 2 inches tall that would mean that the bottom of the hitch would be about 9-3/4 inches from the ground.
