My Hitch Arrived Within A Couple Days I Haven't Had Enough Time To Get it out Of The Box !!!!
Installed by myself,no problems at 74. Just have a couple blocks for support.
Works as advertised. A little difficulty finding a vendor to install a hitch purchased online.
This worked like a charm on my 2008 SRX, but I would highly recommend getting a M12x1.75 tap to clean out the threads. The brush alone still makes it hard. After I used the tap to clean the threads I was able to just use my fingers to get the bolts in to the point I used a pneumatic ratchet just to tighten down to 60 psi.
Yeah...why have I ever paid anyone to install one of these for me? This was not at all complicated. Part came as promised, got it installed faster than I thought I would and the video was super useful.
A very good product at a very good price. Install was easy once weldnuts were tapped to clean out. Hitch cover is cheap and a sloppy fit.
Perfect fit, all hardware needed was included. Although difficulty rating was a 10 for my application, the available videos walked me right through the installation.

Speedy service and it installed like the video said. This is my third trailer hitch and everyone was the same.
Product arrived ahead of schedule thanks to the shipping upgrade I received which was greatly appreciated. Installation took a little longer than the instructions said but I'm 63 so everything takes a little longer than it used to plus I was laying on my back most of the time and kept falling asleep. Instructions were accurate and easy to follow. My only complaint was that the receiver once mounted extends out past the rear bumper a little and it could be a shin knocker. Other than that it looks good. No pictures available at this time.
The shipping was very fast and the product looks great. I have not had time to install but after watching the video the installation looks straight forward. Warmer weather will be here soon and using the trailer hitch for our bike rack will make bike riding fun.
I had access to a lift which made the installation a lot easier. A friend and I put it on my 2004 Caddy SRX in an afternoon with very little problem. The instructions were very good and was a stress free process. Thank you
Product is well built and bolts up as mentioned. Note: On the 2008 Cadillac SRX, the lower muffler bolt taps out with a hammer. No cutting lower bolt is required, so removing the entire muffler bracket is not required which saved about 20 minutes on the installation.

Put it on my 2009 Caddy SRX and it fit perfect. The 2004-2009 SRXs are a tricky fit, the exhaust has to be lowered and the hitch slid in so thank goodness that all the bolt holes in the hitch lined up perfectly with the factory drilled and threaded holes in the frame.

it arrived in a timely manner from your company and the fit was very good I had no problems with exhaust rattle and the hardware kit had all the parts to install it

I installed this by myself laying on my back with the car (2006 Cadillac SRX) up on wheel ramps. It was easy. But, I spent most of the time cleaning out the weld nuts which were very rusty and dirty. Be sure to thoroughly clean the weld nuts this because it will make the bolts screw in much easier especially if you are trying to hold up the hitch at the same time. The online installation video really helped. Very well built quality product and HEAVY. Shipping was fast. Very satisfied.

Hitch fit good.I like the fasteners and instructions came with it. I should have paid more attention to how far past the bumper it sticks out. Not a fan of bruised legs!

I was able to install this by myself on a Cadillac 2009 SRX.
1. If you use straps to hold up the mufflers try not to use the hole on the outside of the frame. They may not come out due to the hitch once being installed it is in the way.
2. Use jack stands to hold the hitch up. Then you can do the final life by hand and start the bolts.
3. Clean out the bolt hole before you try to lift the hitch into place. I used an old style battery terminal cleaner tool. I also bought a bolt and cut four grooves in it to clean out the threads in the frame. Got the idea from this site.
Once installed the hitch blends into the black car and looks good.
My husband & son installed this hitch on our '08 Cadillac SRX. I was told that the instructions were very good & that the installation went smoothly. Took these 2 car guys about 2 hours & that it was very straight forward. No extra trips to the store... They only had to cut a couple of things that were supposed to be cut according to the directions. No other modifications needed. Hubby says the rear end is now wonderfully tight. Appearance of the hitch is handsome. It all bolted in & they were very pleased with the quality of the product. Top notch. etrailer's service is outstanding & the expedited delivery was well worth the extra couple of dollars for our purposes.
