wow,,,,they really did their homework on this....hitch fits like a glove....15 minutes to install...the basket that was recommended was perfect...great ground clearance as that the car sits so close to the ground,that dragging could be a problem,,,,everything came complete...great installation instructions...i know i,ll sell a couple of these to people i know with this car...
I was impressed with the quality of the hitch. It came as described, with the hardware needed. Install took about as much time as the instructions indicated. All the holes lined up and the hardware matched. I was interested in knowing how much the total package would weigh, but couldn't find that anywhere. Eventually weighed it myself, it's 15#, which seems appropriate for what it is. I am not the sort of person who usually gives "excellent" ratings, and I was hesitant to do it here given that there's probably not much to distinguish "good" from "excellent". At the the end of the day I got exactly what I thought I was buying with nothing missing or damaged, and it went together just as the instructions described.
This is the first time I had ever ordered something like this online, but I shop on the 'net frequently, so had no reason to believe it wouldn't go smoothly. The one concerning factor...I had never done business with etrailer.com before. Turns out that was NO concern at all...the web page was simple to use, pricing was reasonable (even shipping!), and the product arrived quickly and without issue. Upon inspecting the hitch, it was much better than expected...clean welding, nice finish...excellent product!!! Will definitely return to etrailer.com for all my hitch needs in the future!!!
Just installed it myself this morning. Threading the passenger side mount around the exhaust pipe is a little tricky (Lexus CT 200h) but not too bad. Install feels very solid although I haven't used it yet.
I would add to the instructions some detail about the push-on fastners that hold the underbody panel. These have an internal plunger that, if pulled out, makes the re-install much easier.
Curt trailer hitch receiver came packed nicely. Install was easy if you are a do it yourself kind of person. All in all very happy with my purchase.
I have purchased several products over the years from etrailer.com, the latest being the Curt hitches for my 2012 VW Jetta sport wagon and my wife's 2016 Lexus CT200h. The customer service regarding confirmation of the correct hitch selection, time to deliver product, follow up, etc... are excellent. I installed both hitches with basic tools and had absolutely no issues at all. I have had these on my cars for 1 - 3 years and have no complaints.
I was so excited to find a hitch to fit my Lexus CT200h that would hold a bike rack. After much research and reading all the reviews, I took the plunge and ordered this hitch and the Thule 2 bike rack. I was immediately notified of the status of my order. I tracked it all the way from the snowy north to sunny Florida. They came in 2 large, very well packed boxes. I unboxed the hitch and put it and the 4 bolts/washers in the back of my car and took it to my local tire/auto shop to have them install, although the instructions rated it as "easy". Well, in my experience, easy is never really easy. They said go to Uhaul. So I went straight home and 45 minutes later, not only did I have my hitch installed, but also my bike rack assembled and attached. Let me tell you, when it said "easy" on the instructions, it was EASY! It did call for a torque wrench but I tightened it so well I don't think it'll ever come loose. I am a 47 year old female and had no issues installing it alone. Everything matched up perfectly. I was so thrilled and so glad I didn't pay the auto shop to do it. The hitch is low profile and is perfect for what I needed. I tried to get a good picture, but it doesn't do it justice.
Confirmed this fits perfectly on a 2016 Lexus CT200H F-Sport edition. There was no need to cut the rear fascia. Thanks etrailer, the video instructions were spot on! Very happy with my purchase, you guys are the best.

Easy to purchase, shipping was fast, and simply to install! It took me approximately 30 min to completely install it. You can barely see it peeking out of the bottom of my 2016 Lexus CT-200h. I’m glad I went with this company. Great product! You can tell the time was put in it to make it what it is.

I cannot exactly comment on the Curt hitch because I have yet to use it. But I can comment on the service from eTrailer which was exceptional. I needed the hitch by a certain day so that I could have the dealer install it for me and eTrailer bumped up the delivery so that I would have it in time at no cost to me. It arrived just as promised. Plus, the tracking map is too cool.
I bought this hitch for my new impossibly wonderful little Lexus CT200h so that I could attach a bike rack. I'm a 65 year old woman, so there was no way I was going to try to install it myself. The dealer charged me under $100 to do it. Now, I'm still dithering over which bike rack to purchase, but the hitch is installed. I like that it doesn't extend past the bumper on the car so that there's no danger of me constantly bashing my ankle on it, but on the other hand, I wonder how difficult it will be to get the hitch pin in. We'll see. In the meantime, I've been extremely pleased with eTrailer service. Could not be better unless they drove the product to my house and installed it themselves. Hmmmm?

Amazing, and quick and it’s high quality. Packaging was damaged and missing a washer but no big deal I love it!
It was easy to install, of good quality, and shipped easily. I've had it on my rig for a year and have had no issues. I really appreciate the time etrailer puts into making videos showing you how it works for your ride.

Perfect
Fits perfectly on my 2012 Lexus CT 200h. Took me a while to figure out to take off the under paneling on the car, but once I did, installation of hitch was easy by myself.

Did you have an additional fastener on the underbody panel? I took the screws off but theres now a dollar sized plastic fastener with a metal center that doesnt want to come off turns loosely
Been a year no issues. Used it on my Lexus ct200h, for daily I'm using my 1up bike rack 1 bike flatform rack and if i need to carry 2 bikes I put my kuat NV 2 bike platform hitch rack. Work great without issues, install was quick.
This hitch is solid and installs easily. I drive a Lexus CT200h and installed the hitch myself.
You need to order the 18050 stabilizing straps for anything that isn't a trailer, otherwise the warranty is void. h

Hi Mike, Im planning to make a move from coast to coast and am trying to figure out the best way to do that. I checked in the manual of the CT 200h and it says that it doesnt recommend towing anything. Whats the towing capacity that you would recommend? What will you be towing? I just dont want to damage anything. Thank you for your help! Cat
