It’s rated for 2,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 200 lbs tongue weight, so it handles the everyday stuff—bike racks, small cargo carriers, and compact trailers—with confidence. The 1-1/4" x 1-1/4" receiver opening is built for Class I-rated gear, keeping your setup balanced and secure for light towing or hauling jobs.

Everything you need comes in the box—hardware kit and detailed instructions—to make the job straightforward whether you’re installing it on your own or with an extra set of hands.

Built to Last Through Every Season: Fully Welded Steel and Gloss Black Coating

The round-tube design keeps it looking clean under the bumper while adding a bit of style to your setup.

Ready for Everyday Towing Gear: Works with Ball Mounts and Accessories

The receiver accepts Class I ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers so you can make the most of your vehicle’s space. A drawbar, pin, and clip are sold separately so you can choose exactly what fits your towing or carrying needs. Great hitch for my little hybrid hatchback. I have a bike rack attached and carry two heavy cruisers on it.

by:

This is a great product. I consider myself an itermediate diy-er. However, I would've never been able to install this on my own or any human, not unless your as thin as Gumby. My Lexus is a low profile car. You would've needed to jack up the rear of the car to install this. I did not even attempt after reading the instructions. I had my mechanic install it. And after watching him install it using a car lift, I am so glad I did and saved myself a migraine. If you attempt to install it on your own while laying on your back, you have to be pretty agile I think.

It’s been very good was very easy to install no drilling or nothing thank you for a quality product

by:

Very sturdy. Very simple to install. Everything lined up perfectly. Very satisfied with purchase.

by:

installed on my 2015 Lexus C200h in less than 30 min. Installation videos were great. Needed metric sockets to install but already had them. I use with my Thule T2 Classic bike carrier with the recommended strap. 2 carbon bikes and carrier are less than 100 lbs.

by:

I love my new hitch the powder coating is solid and it fit perfectly.

by:

This hitch is solid and installs easily. I drive a Lexus CT200h and installed the hitch myself.

You need to order the 18050 stabilizing straps for anything that isn't a trailer, otherwise the warranty is void. h

We got this trailer hitch receiver for our Lexus CT200h. It works great for our bike rack. Installation was tougher than expected, but it did fit.

by:

Great price and really straightforward install - especially with e-trailer's very helpful install video!

Great product and wonderful customer se rvice.

Been a year no issues. Used it on my Lexus ct200h, for daily I'm using my 1up bike rack 1 bike flatform rack and if i need to carry 2 bikes I put my kuat NV 2 bike platform hitch rack. Work great without issues, install was quick.

Fits perfectly on my 2012 Lexus CT 200h. Took me a while to figure out to take off the under paneling on the car, but once I did, installation of hitch was easy by myself.

Did you have an additional fastener on the underbody panel? I took the screws off but theres now a dollar sized plastic fastener with a metal center that doesnt want to come off turns loosely

15 minutes? That's outstanding, good job Nicholas!!!

by:

Just installed it myself this morning. Threading the passenger side mount around the exhaust pipe is a little tricky (Lexus CT 200h) but not too bad. Install feels very solid although I haven't used it yet.

I would add to the instructions some detail about the push-on fastners that hold the underbody panel. These have an internal plunger that, if pulled out, makes the re-install much easier.

Hi Mike, Im planning to make a move from coast to coast and am trying to figure out the best way to do that. I checked in the manual of the CT 200h and it says that it doesnt recommend towing anything. Whats the towing capacity that you would recommend? What will you be towing? I just dont want to damage anything. Thank you for your help! Cat

If the manual speaks against towing, it is probably best to follow it. It could be that engine or transmission cannot handle the load or the suspension or frame are not strong enough to support a towing load. Hitches are still available for these vehicles for using things like bike racks or cargo carriers.

I cannot exactly comment on the Curt hitch because I have yet to use it. But I can comment on the service from eTrailer which was exceptional. I needed the hitch by a certain day so that I could have the dealer install it for me and eTrailer bumped up the delivery so that I would have it in time at no cost to me. It arrived just as promised. Plus, the tracking map is too cool.

I bought this hitch for my new impossibly wonderful little Lexus CT200h so that I could attach a bike rack. I'm a 65 year old woman, so there was no way I was going to try to install it myself. The dealer charged me under $100 to do it. Now, I'm still dithering over which bike rack to purchase, but the hitch is installed. I like that it doesn't extend past the bumper on the car so that there's no danger of me constantly bashing my ankle on it, but on the other hand, I wonder how difficult it will be to get the hitch pin in. We'll see. In the meantime, I've been extremely pleased with eTrailer service. Could not be better unless they drove the product to my house and installed it themselves. Hmmmm?

We are really glad to hear you are happy with our service and we hope the hitch will serve you well. If you have any questions about bike racks, please give us a shout. We'll be more than happy to help you wade through them. We have looked into shipping our installers along with hitches, but we're having trouble getting them to fold up enough to fit into the boxes.

Happy with the hitch for my Lexus CT. Very easy to install the hitch, it only took me less than 20 minutes. One of the best customer services that I experienced for the last 10 years.

by:

Today I installed my hitch, it went on without any problems all hardware lined up properly and it only took me 27 minutes which included setup and clean up. Thank you for such a great product.

by:

Easy to purchase, shipping was fast,
and simply to install! It took me approximately 30 min to completely install it. You can barely see it peeking out of the bottom of my 2016 Lexus CT-200h. I’m glad I went with this company. Great product! You can tell the time was put in it to make it what it is.

by:

Confirmed this fits perfectly on a 2016 Lexus CT200H F-Sport edition. There was no need to cut the rear fascia. Thanks etrailer, the video instructions were spot on! Very happy with my purchase, you guys are the best.

I was so excited to find a hitch to fit my Lexus CT200h that would hold a bike rack. After much research and reading all the reviews, I took the plunge and ordered this hitch and the Thule 2 bike rack. I was immediately notified of the status of my order. I tracked it all the way from the snowy north to sunny Florida. They came in 2 large, very well packed boxes. I unboxed the hitch and put it and the 4 bolts/washers in the back of my car and took it to my local tire/auto shop to have them install, although the instructions rated it as "easy". Well, in my experience, easy is never really easy. They said go to Uhaul. So I went straight home and 45 minutes later, not only did I have my hitch installed, but also my bike rack assembled and attached. Let me tell you, when it said "easy" on the instructions, it was EASY! It did call for a torque wrench but I tightened it so well I don't think it'll ever come loose. I am a 47 year old female and had no issues installing it alone. Everything matched up perfectly. I was so thrilled and so glad I didn't pay the auto shop to do it. The hitch is low profile and is perfect for what I needed. I tried to get a good picture, but it doesn't do it justice.

by:

I have purchased several products over the years from etrailer.com, the latest being the Curt hitches for my 2012 VW Jetta sport wagon and my wife's 2016 Lexus CT200h. The customer service regarding confirmation of the correct hitch selection, time to deliver product, follow up, etc... are excellent. I installed both hitches with basic tools and had absolutely no issues at all. I have had these on my cars for 1 - 3 years and have no complaints.

by:

Curt trailer hitch receiver came packed nicely. Install was easy if you are a do it yourself kind of person. All in all very happy with my purchase.

by:

Super easy to install and it fit right perfectly on my Lexus Ct200. Processing of my order and shipping was super fast from etrailer. I’ll buy from them again.

by:

It fits well and is very rigid. It supports my hitch mounted bike rack better than I expected. Installation was straight forward but not quick. The reviewers who wrote they installed theirs quickly must have been having a great day. I work on my own cars and motorcycles and my helper from across the street is equally as capable. Together it took us a least a half hour, lining up the bolt holes was a trick for some reason. And the left under panel that is supposed to just pull loose...I pulled hard enough that I was concerned I'd break it so worked around it. It really wasn't a problem to push out of the way. We got it done and it works great.

  • Compatibility of Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack with 2013 Lexus CT 200h
One of the most important things to consider when choosing a bike rack is the bumper clearance. Because there is not a set standard of how far back the receiver is recessed under the vehicle, the distance between the hitch pin hole in the receiver and the furthest rearward point of the vehicle bumper needs to be known so a rack with a long enough shank can be chosen. If you choose a rack whose shank is too short, the upright portion or wheel tray of the rack will contact the bumper before...
