Hello I have Lexus ct200 will I be able to get a 2” hitch receiver if to just be able to us a 2” bike rack? Thank you.

We do carry a hitch and bike rack that is designed to fit your vehicle, however it only comes with a 1-1/4" receiver. Many of the frames of smaller sedans, such as your 2014 Lexus CT 200H, and other compact vehicles just aren't designed to withstand the heavier duty use of a Class II or Class III trailer hitch (which would come with a 2" receiver standard).

The trailer hitch we carry for your CT 200H is the Curt Class I - 1-1/4" # C11200. It's recommended to use a bike rack that was specifically designed to work with this kind of hitch, such as the Swagman Trailhead 2 # S63360.

If you already have a bike rack that is designed to be used with a 2" receiver, you can use an adapter specifically designed to be used with Class I hitches like the Brophy # HTAD. However, be advised that using such an adapter will reduce your hitch's tongue weight capacity by 50%, in this case 100 lbs.

Bike rack manufacturers recommend that no more than two (2) bikes be hauled on a Class I Hitch at any given time.
