The hitch works and looks great. There was a slight problem with lining up the rear holes as the mounting brackets were warped in a bit
Was ordering a different hitch when, I was told it was out of stock. They gave me a phone call and I was able to get this one. At first was a little hesitant due to the design of the hitch going over the muffler tip, but it was actually not bad looking it also looks very high quality. Installation was a breeze, you won't be able to re-use your stock hooks at the sides the hitch has tow hook holes on the sides. There are not two holes in the back to secure the hitch just one and then two at the rear total of three on each sides. Where as the stocks have two back and two fronts. You also have to bend your trailer harness back a little and then re-seat it in the upside down position. So far fits my 03 LX470 perfectly and highly recommend it. Thanks etrailer!
The box must have came open during shipping. The hitch came with scratches due to the box being open.
Instructions are nice and basic.
On my lx470 it took a bit of adjusting and it was frustrating due to laying on the ground . The hitch may have shrunk on the distal end for the frame. I held it up while I would attach one bolt the. I move to the other side. The bolt hole was likely 1/8” narrower than expected making the sliding process difficult to align everything.
Fast shipping, exactly as described, took me about 30 to 45 min to install. Looks great and was packed great.
I was very impressed with the level of communication and project management provided by etrailer's customer service department. I received updates when my order was placed, shipped, and delivered. etrailer.com was great on price and super fast shipping. The actual hitch has been a bit of a pain. The bolt holes/attachment points on the one I received were just to narrow. I am still working to get the front portions of the bracket to spread wide enough to line up with the frame holes. In talking to a few others it seems as though some of these lower end hitches have this problem.

The easy way to move the mounting flanges outward would be to use the scissor jack used for changing the tires and a piece of lumber. Place the jack and the lumber in between the flanges and open the jack until the flanges are moved out enough for the bolt holes to line up.
