Question:
Hi, my spare tire is a 285/75 R16. Does this mean that I need to purchase the Curt 13443 instead of the Draw-Tite Class III 75095? Thanks for any assistance you can provide!!

Expert Reply:
I reached out to Draw-Tite and Curt directly and unfortunately cannot confirm that either the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75095 or the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13443 will accommodate the larger 285/75r16 33inch spare tire you mentioned on your 2005 Lexus LX 470. This is because both trailer hitch receivers were made to fit factory 31inch tires and have not been tested with anything larger.
Curt sent me a picture that shows some clearance around the spare tire, but can't confirm if it is enough for the 33inch tire to fit. I attached the picture for you to take a look at.
I recommend changing your spare tire to a 31inch tire to be able to guarantee that the either Draw-Tite Max-Frame # 75095 or Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # 13443 will fit correctly.
