Does Installing a Hitch on the 2003 Lexus LX 470 Require Relocating the 7 Way Connector

Question:
I have two more questions about fitment. I see some mixed information in the comments and questions about whether this will fit with my spare tire and whether I will have to modify my 7-pin wiring hookup. I have a 32.5 tire in the stock tire location. Will the hitch interfere with my spare? My truck has the factory 7-pin trailer wiring. Will the draw-tite require me to remove/modify the factory wiring?

Yes. You will have to remove and relocate the 7way connection on your 2003 Lexus LX 470 in order to install the Draw-Tite # 75095 since it will install in the same location. You can likely use some self tapping screws and the Mounting Bracket for 7-Way # 18138 to attach your existing bracket to the newly installed hitch, or you can fabricate something on your own.
When it comes to the spare tire, as long as your tires are not larger than the tires that came stock on the vehicle, this shouldn't be an issue since it was designed for a vehicle with an under-mounted spare. However, if your tires are slightly larger than the original 275/60/r18 tires that came on the 2003 Lexus LX470 (31") you may have some difficulty storing the spare tire in that location with a hitch installed.
Because of this, the Curt # 13443 might be a better solution and will likely provide you with a bit of extra clearance for your spare tire since it's got a straight cross-tube that would allow for your slightly larger than stock tires.
