This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives you a 2" x 2" opening and a Class III rating, so it’s ready for light to moderate towing or carrying gear. It can handle up to 6,000 lbs gross trailer weight and 600 lbs tongue weight, or up to 10,000 lbs GTW and 1,000 lbs TW when used with weight distribution. That’s plenty for small trailers, cargo carriers, or bike racks without worrying about stability or strength.
The hitch is made from fully welded, square-tube steel for lasting durability. It’s finished with a gloss black powder coat over a protective base coat that fights rust and corrosion in all kinds of conditions. The finish also keeps it looking clean while standing up to road wear and weather.
No welding or complicated modifications are needed here—this hitch bolts right onto the frame using the included hardware kit and installation instructions. The precision, robotic welding ensures everything lines up correctly for an easy fit. It's the kind of install you can tackle in your own driveway with basic tools and a bit of patience.
With its concealed cross tube design, the receiver sits neatly under the bumper for a clean appearance while still giving you the practical utility of a 2" hitch. Whether you’re hauling extra cargo or mounting a bike rack, it adds real versatility without taking away from your vehicle’s look.
