Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Let's take a look at the Patriot Hitches two inch adjustable drop hitch adapter. You're gonna get 11 inches of rise or drop and a rating of 7,000 pounds capacity. So folks, starting off, this fits your standard two inch by two inch trailer hitch receiver. And again, you're gonna have a maximum of 11 inches of rise or drop depending on if you use it this way or if you have to flip it and use it the other way.

So it's multi-use as far as the directional and those kind of things, which is pretty nice. Obviously, you're just gonna have to pull a couple pins here or clips rather than pull the pins, and that's how you're going to raise or lower it accordingly. And then you would just put both of your pins back in place. Once you got the right drop of rise you need, push the safety clips back on and then you're ready to rock and roll. And the neat thing about this Patriot Hitch is also that they do give you these built-in, give me a second here.

They do give you these built-in anti-rattle bolts here on both the front here and down here. So you can take the included Allen key and then you can tighten that up once you get it in place to get rid of any rattles. Same thing here with your adapters on the shanks that you're putting in there, whether it's a bike rack or whatnot, you can make those quiet. So built in anti-rattle bolts are gonna reduce vibration and noise. It gives you a nice glossy black powder coat finish, so it's gonna be great.

And they've got some silver accents on the bolts and with the logo here to kind of give a little pop of silver there as well. As far as some quick dimensions, the important ones anyways to me, two and a half inches center from the pin hole to the back of the shank. So that's gonna make sure that it fits inside of your current hitch. And then from the back to this welded gusset I got right where the weld start, roughly five and three-quarter inches. Keep in mind, depending on how they weld each one individually, that number could change possibly, even up to like six inches of clearance.

But I would say safely five and a half, five and three-quarters is gonna be what you wanna make sure you have as far as fitment there. And as you saw already, you get four included pin and clips. I recommend also potentially swapping some of them out to lockable pins and clips. That way no one can run off with your newly drop hitch adapter.
