This Spyder gooseneck hitch is built to handle serious towing jobs. Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Curt Spyder gooseneck trailer hitch for fifth wheel rails. Has a 30,000 pound gross towing weight capacity. Now, this Spyder hitch will allow your truck, that's equipped with industry standard fifth wheel rails, to be able to tow your gooseneck trailer. You can see it features four attachment points right here.
Gives you a nice solid installation, and also, quick removal to your fifth wheel base rails. It is designed to work with Demco, Husky, Draw-Tite, Reese, Hidden Hitch, and Curt fifth wheel rails. If you notice it in the front here, it does have attached these safety chain hookups that you can attach your safety chains to. Does come with the pins and clips for attaching this hitch to the rails. And it does resist rust and corrosion.
Has a nice, durable carbide powder coat finish to it. Again, the specs on this, the gross towing weight capacity is 30,000 pounds, the vertical load limit or pin weight capacity is 7,500 pounds, and the ball size is a standard 2 5/16 diameter gooseneck ball size. Not one complaint after a full year of use. Czech and Taylor have been across the country with several horses and there has never been a problem. I highly recommend this product.
doesn’t fit
Expensive but the heaviest towing USA made 5th wheel rail gooseneck hitch on the market. Also it surprisingly color matches the Curt 40K rails.
Awesome, put it on in about 5 minutes, and ready to go.

I just installed the Spyder Gooseneck Hitch. First the Hitch weights 77 lbs. The Hitch fit in very tight. The Curt Spyder Gooseneck showed up ony a couple days....I am very pleased with the Spyder. I haven't been able to tow with it yet but I believe it will do great!
I love the hitch but it comes with quite a price jump to upgrade from the 25k to a 30k.The price almost doubles. I guess that's what you pay to get what you want.
