The 30K Curt Spyder Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rails # C35HR weighs 76.2lbs. If you feel this is too heavy we do have their 25K Spyder # 16085 which only weighs 50lbs. I do recommend using the Fifth Wheel Rail Sound Dampeners # 16900 with either hitch to help reduce the amount of noise the hitch makes in the rails, both with a trailer connected and without.
