Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at our DeWay battery-powered fuel transfer pump for gas cans with a 42 inch hose and a manual shutoff. So folks, you're gonna slide this down inside of the fuel tank that you're transferring the fuel from, and it has a nice, 42 inch long hose that you're going to use to put fuel in. And then on the very top here, you have a manual on/off button. So, let's zoom in and take a look at that first.
So, you have a nice on/off push lever style button there. Looking at the bottom, the pump itself, the intake tube base here is about 1 1/4 inches diameter. And once again, overall length of this tube is about 42 inches. Now, you have a nice little plastic handheld option here. You can either put that over the clip like that, or you can put the hose top down or hose bottom up.
Totally up to you. However you want to do it. It's your product, right So, it's gonna require two D batteries. Those are not included, I repeat, not included. We do sell a set here if you need a set, they're item number DU78QR.
And on two D batteries, you're gonna get about 100 gallons of fuel transferred before those batteries run out. The flow rate's about 2.6 gallons per minute. And again folks, this is a great option if you're using gasoline, kerosene, diesel fuels. It's also compatible with non-potable waters and antifreeze and those kind of things. Great option, maybe, if you want to drain an aquarium.
Stick it down the tank, you can drain it down into another bucket or something like that. Great option for that as well. Folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our quick look together at the DeWay battery-powered fuel pump. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
Works great !!!!!
Your product looks good I haven’t tried it yet. I’m a big dummy I didn’t pay close enough attention to the description of the product. I thought the 51” hose went in the drum I’m trying to pump out of a 55 gallon drum. So spent a lot of money on a pump that won’t pump my 55 gallon drum. Fast service- product looks heavy duty. My bad!!!!
