Features to know about

Mount Recovery Gear Where You Need It: 2" Front Receiver

Sometimes you need access to gear that the rear hitch just can't handle - like a winch, spare tire, or snowplow. This front-mounted 2" receiver gives you a dedicated spot for those tools, so you're not swapping out rear accessories or stuck without options when it matters most.

Pull with Confidence When It Gets Sketchy: 9,000 lb Line Pull Rating

Whether you're yanking a buddy out of a ditch or using a winch to pull a trailer into a tight space, this hitch is rated for 9,000 lbs of straight-line pull. That's real pulling power when your trail ride turns into a recovery mission or your driveway turns to ice.

Carry What You Need Without Rear Access: 350 lb Vertical Load Rating

When your rear hitch is already spoken for - or just out of reach - this hitch supports up to 350 lbs of vertical load. That's plenty for a front cargo carrier, bike rack, spare tire mount, or other hitch-mounted gear you need up front.

Install It Yourself in an Afternoon: Bolt-On, No-Drill Mounting

There's no need to haul it to a shop or break out the welder. This hitch bolts directly to your vehicle with the included hardware. No drilling, no cutting, no fuss - just a clean, factory-style fit you can knock out in your own garage.

Keep It Looking Sharp: Hidden Cross Tube with Durable Finish

Nobody wants a bulky chunk of steel hanging off the front bumper. This hitch keeps a clean profile with a hidden cross tube, showing only the 2" receiver. And with a rust-resistant black powder coat, it holds up to road salt and trail grime without looking beat-up.

No More Packed Receivers: Open-Back Design for Easy Cleanouts

If you've dealt with a gunked-up receiver, you know the struggle. The open-back design on this hitch makes it easy to clear out dirt, snow, or leaves, so your accessories slide in smoothly every time - no banging, digging, or swearing required.

Great job ! it looks and feels sturdy and the paint is the best unfortunately the unit somehow damaged the box it was in and punctured one side and the top was tapped back shut during transport or handling. But no worries the only damage was a paint scuff on the hitch body. I will update my review after install and use but overall I am very satisfied,
Thank you guys

That looks great on that new Tacoma! I am glad the installation went smoothly for you. What are you planning to use that front hitch for?

Hitch was super easy to install. I have the luxury of having a car lift which made it much easier however installing it myself with minimal effort, took about 25 minutes.

The only challenge, and it’s not really a challenge, is that the instructions that come with the package are in black-and-white and the images are extremely difficult to see. While I get it should be straightforward for somebody who may not be very inclined. It could be a bit of a challenge to understand how to feed the bolts and the fish wires through.

Packaging of the hitch also had some challenges. Because of the design of this hitch, both the upper arms had busted through the box and were scraped up from delivery. Well, it wasn’t much of an issue to hit it with a little black touchup paint there could be a better design for the shipping box. Again that might be nitpicking, but it’s challenging to move a box that has two very heavy metal arms sticking out of

This was actually the second Kurt hitch. I’ve used to install on the front of a Toyota Tacoma pick up truck. In both cases, they are extremely straightforward and mount with no effort. I do understand that in some cases there are slight modifications made to either the air dam or the body molding. In my case for the TRD off-road none of those models required that. For my instance, I simply just didn’t reinstall the air dam which could not line up.

  • Front Hitch Fitment on a 2025 Toyota Tacoma
Hey Brian, thanks for reaching out! The Curt Front Hitch Receiver # C31075 fits a 2016 - 2023 Toyota Tacoma. Since you have the 2025 model, you'll need the Curt # C55RJ instead, which is still in the preorder stage and hasn't come out yet officially. The only other way around this is to have a shop fabricate a front hitch for your Tacoma. What do you plan on using the front hitch for?
