Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today on our 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500, we're doing a test fit of the WeatherTech front auto floor mat in black, part number WT446071. It also comes in tan, part number WT456071, and it also comes in gray, part number WT466071. All right, now we're ready to install. Now you see it doesn't have a mat in here and that's how the floor will look. So let's go ahead and install our mat. Let's go over a few features of it. Now, you see it has the channels.
That's going to pretty much keep all your dirt and debris right in this area, so that's going to keep it off your shoes and off your floor. It contours under your brake pedal and under your gas pedal, comes along here with raised edges right here at the 4x4 switcher. Once again you see it covers your threshold. Now the thing about the WeatherTech mats, it fits along your threshold, but that eventually will cover that completely where you set your foot at, and that's going to be a nice snug after it sits in the hot weather for awhile. Now we're ready to install the passenger side. Once again you see how the floor is. Once again just like on your driver's side, it contours toward your threshold, so it's going to contour all around your floor leaving all your dirt and debris inside the mat and off your vehicle's floor.
Now you can see it goes well up underneath your dash. Once again it's contouring toward your middle console here. It basically has most of the features of the driver's side. Last but not least, to clean, water and soap, rinse, let it dry, then you can replace them back in your vehicle. Now we completed our test fit of the WeatherTech front flor mat in black, part number WT446071 on today's 2016 Chevrolet Silverado 2500.
