When you need to grab something from the bed, the Trifecta 2.0 makes it easy. Just pop the spring-loaded EZ-Lock clamps at the tailgate and lift the panel to reach your gear. For larger hauls, fold the cover toward the cab and secure it with the integrated buckles to open up two-thirds of your bed. When you need the full bed, release the front Jaw-Grip clamps and lift the whole thing off—no rails or leftover hardware to deal with.
Some covers leave behind rails or take forever to install. This one doesn’t. The Trifecta 2.0 is a single, self-contained unit with clamps built right into the frame. Drop it in place, hook the clamps under the bed rails, and it’s locked down. When you remove it, there’s nothing left behind—just a clean, open bed ready for work or hauling.
Daily use and weather can beat up a cover fast. The Trifecta 2.0 uses an aircraft-grade aluminum frame and black powder coat finish that resists rust and stays strong without adding extra weight. Fiberglass-reinforced nylon clamps and glass-filled nylon hinges keep everything tight and sturdy. The cover weighs about 35 lbs, so it’s easy to handle but still built tough enough for years of regular use.
Rain, snow, or sun—your gear stays covered. The heavy-duty leather-grain vinyl skin is permanently attached to the frame so it won’t loosen or flap in the wind. Snap-on rubber seals run around the perimeter to help keep water out of the bed, sealing tighter than adhesive strips. Sitting about 1" to 1-1/2" above the rails, the cover sheds water while keeping a smooth, low-profile look.
Installing a cover shouldn’t take all afternoon. The Trifecta 2.0 comes fully assembled and uses built-in Jaw-Grip and EZ-Lock clamps—no drilling, no extra hardware. Just tighten the front clamps to the bed flanges, fold the cover out, and lock down the rear clamps. The handles are spring-loaded and easy to use, so setup and removal take only minutes.

Sorry to hear that, Craig. I can't say I have heard of one of these failing so quickly, so I am surprised. That said, the picture you sent is of a hard folding cover and what you ordered is a replacement for a soft folding cover. Is the picture of a different cover? And then also, can I ask who you contacted exactly? I checked your account and your email address, but I could not find anything sent in. Did you use a different email address by chance?

Very happy with cover, was very easy to install. Keeps everything in bed dry and hidden. Easy to remover for larger loads. Looks great still. All in all was a fantastic experience with product!

Product worked great for the time that I had the truck it was on. The material didnt fade from the sun and it never tore or scratched if something hit it. I definitely would purchase again.

I am very sorry to hear that install was more difficult than anticipated. A lot of companies do have an install policy, it was on there for more than one day which is why we can't take it back. Once again, my apologies that you are not more pleased with the cover, this is not the typical feedback I get on this product.

I reached out to Extang about the cover. The covers are designed to cover the inside dimensions of the bed. You will want to make sure that the cover is centered on the bed itself. Sometimes it seems like the cover should be closer to the cab window and that is not the case. You will want to make sure that it is centered. Also, the cover also is not always designed to cover the stake pockets.
