Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Curt Combo Bar with the 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver. This is in a raw finish, and it's 48" long. Now this raw steel hitch receiver is made from steel for maximum strength. It can be used to extend the reach of your receiver, or to create a piece of custom towing equipment. The receiver bar is sized and punched to fit all the common weight distribution hitch ball mounts or utility ball mounts.If you notice on the end right here, it has a forged 1/2" reinforcing collar for increased strength. The tube is crafted with a raw finish so it's ideal for welding.
Also if you notice, they do have a pre-drilled 5/8" diameter hitch pin hole for your pinning clip to go through. This part is made in the U.S.A.Specs on this, we're going to measure the overall length. From the very end to the other end is 48" long. The width of it is 2-1/2" by 2-1/2". The receiver opening is going to be 2" by 2", so it will accept any 2" by 2" ball mount shank.
And the weight on it is going to be right at about 29 pounds.But that should do it for the review on the Curt Combo Bar with the 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver in a raw finish, 48" long.

Grade A product. Fast shipping! I bought 2 of these to weld on the back of an off road mini camper i am building. They will be supports for stabilizing jacks. 3' square 2 x 2 will slide up and down in them with a foot pad welded to the bottom.
These seem to be well made and easy to work with. I used two of them to make custom leveler mounts on a trailer I was building. They were lightly oiled, and free of rust, making for clean welding.
There is absolutely nothing I can complain about with them. They were exactly what I was looking for, and needed no modifications to accept 2" tube and pins.
I bought two of these to make a hitch holder for the bed of my truck. This is a quality product. The bare metal was covered in plastic and had very little if any rust on it which cut prep time down prior to welding. I like the design of this product in that it includes the rounded lip on the front of the product which helps inserting hevy hitch stingers. The actual product I received has a mild steel lip on it rather than the apparent hardened steel in the product photo, but it works the same notheless. The steel welded well and I have since order an additional receiver for another project. For the price it can't be beat.
I have a Billy Goat Leaf Loader swing away hitch mount but it didn't come with a hitch to pull a trailer I have a 4x8 open trailer (2000 lb max). So I decided to weld a hitch to it. I also used 1/4 inch thick metal to reinforce the hitch and used etrailer's Safety Chain Loop for Hitch Receivers. I used mig welder with 120amps and had to make extra beads, 3 to 4 beads in some spots i primed it and painted it works great! Thank You etrailer!!!

Good product, delivered as promised, no wait. A little confusion on the size, was hoping it would fit into existing receiver and extend it by 48", not an adapter, as expected, but I can find the 2" piece necessary to make it work. Otherwise, good quality, plenty strong, will do as promised, no complaints

Well, it is steel. Looks like good steel. Curt made/marketed steel. If you need it, looks like a good price and free shipping. Full length receiver tubing doesn't appear to be on [online vendor] so this is a good source.
