Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this tailor-made marine gas strut. This is going to replace one worn or damaged strut on your boat's hatch lid or compartment door. This will extend to help ease lifting your hatch lid, or, as you compress or close your door, it's going to compress so that you're not going to slam your hatch, not gonna have to worry about getting your fingers caught and that sort of thing. So this does use the 10-millimeter ball sockets that will attach to your 10-millimeter ball studs on the inside of your boat's hatch. The length of this, from the center of one socket to the center of the other, is right about seven and a half inches, as you can see there.
This does have a compression force of 30 pounds. So it is going to do a good job of helping to make sure that your hatch lid will open easily for you and compress gently. This is constructed of an annealed steel, so it is going to be very durable for you. It's got a corrosion-resistant coating that's not going to rust, even in your saltwater areas, so no matter where you're taking your boat out, this will do a good job, hold up well for you to help you to open and softly close your lid. So that completes our look for today.
Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Thanks for watching..
