Speaker 1: Going to take a look at the custom mounting brackets for the road master reflex steering stabilizer. Now these are a custom fit part, they are designed to fit the 2013 to 2016 Chevrolet 1,500, 2,500, 3,500, 4,500 express vans, Class C motor homes, and the 2013 to 2016 GMC 1,500, 2,500, 3,500 and 4,500 Savana vans class C motor homes. And on a custom fit product I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use our fit guide. Put in your year model vehicle and it'll show you if these will work for your application. Now these custom brackets attach to your vehicles frame so that you can mount your road master reflex steering stabilizer. Part number RM-RSSC, we do sell that separately. I just pulled out one to show you what the stabilizer looks like, that is what the stabilizer would be.
This stabilizer is what attaches to the steering mechanism on one end, and to the chassis undercarriage on the other end, using these mounting brackets. This will help reduce road fatigue, the stabilizer keeps you centered so that you don't have to work so hard to steer. And to install these brackets there's no drilling or welding required. These parts come with everything shown here on the table, the two brackets, the two U bolts with its hardware, and a nice set of detailed instructions. They are made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the custom mounting brackets for the road master reflex steering stabilizer..

Use this custom bracket kit to mount your Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer (RM-RSSC) to your vehicle. No drilling or welding required.Worked great! Much better feel in the steering! Strongly recommend for any motorhome! Our install was on a 2018 Chevy 4500 series.
Very substantial/beefy brackets and good quality hardware. Everything installed according to the supplied directions, with one exception. When installed in the order indicated, then the spring on the steering stabilizer obstructs two of the four u-bolt nuts and accessing them for torquing to the required tightness with a socket is not possible. The only way I can see to do this properly would be to pre-install the entire assembly so as to get the proper bracket location (making sure shock nuts are fully tightened to compress grommets) and then temporarily removing the bracket attached to the chassis, and the shock, in order to regain access to the u-bolt nuts. Once torqued, reinstall the other components. With respect to the results of the steering stabilizer, I have not driven the 3500 GMC passenger van towing the 9000 lb camper yet to see how it reacts to side winds and semi-trucks passing by, but with the van itself, steering is noticeably (but not dramatically) more stable both in city and highway traffic. Less correction is required to keep the van centered in its lane. I am satisfied so far and I'll try to remember to update my review after I pull the camper.
