  • Board Holder
  • Snap-Loc

Straight shoring beams can get in the way or miss uneven cargo. This hinged socket holds standard 2" lumber, rotates to change the beam angle, and folds against the wall when the beam is not needed, keeping your trailer layout easier to rework.

Highlights

  • Angle Wood Beams Around Uneven Cargo: Rotating hinge changes the beam angle instead of limiting it to a fixed position.
  • Fold the Bracket Against the Wall: Hinged socket folds back without removing it from your E-track.
  • Turn E-Track into Shelving or Dividers: Socket connects standard 2" boards for shelves, restraints, beds, or dividers.
  • Reposition Your Setup as Cargo Changes: Spring-loaded lever moves the socket from one E-track opening to another.
  • Choose Permanent or Removable Boards: Mounting holes accept hardware, or leave boards unattached for quick removal.

Features to know about

Angle the Beam Around Uneven Cargo

A fixed wood beam doesn't always line up with an uneven load or the structure you want to create. This socket rotates on its hinge, changing the angle of your standard 2" board while remaining connected to Snap-Loc or E-track. Your beam can follow the position needed for uneven cargo or for shelving, dividers, restraints, and other wood structures.

Fold It Back Instead of Pulling It off the Track

Removing brackets every time you need open cargo space adds another step to changing your trailer setup. The hinge folds your socket against the wall without taking it out of the track, while the spring-loaded lever still lets you move the holder to another E-track opening when needed. Your bracket can stay on the track without leaving the socket sticking straight into the cargo area.

Choose How Permanently the Board Stays

Holes in the socket let you permanently attach your board with hardware (not included), or you can leave the board secured in the brackets without permanent attachment. The second approach keeps your boards quick to remove and reposition as your cargo layout changes.

Specs

Dimensions:

  • Dimensions: 2-3/4" tall x 2" wide x 5" deep
  • Inside socket dimensions (edge to edge): 1-3/4"

Warranty:

  • 1-Year limited

Note:

Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Video Transcript for Review of Snap-Loc E Track - Wood Beam End Socket with Hinge - SL56AR

Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Snap-Loc E-Track Wood Beam End Socket with Hinge. So if you've already got E-Track in your trailer or truck bed, this gives you a simple way to use standard two-inch lumber to build out a cargo space. You can even use these for things like shelving, cargo dividers, restraints, or even creating a bed platform if you wanna make, like, a sleeper inside of one of those trailers or something. Now, what makes this one different from your standard ones, yes, it does fit and work in the E-Track by simply using the spring, but it's got a hinge here. So now I can hinge this if I need to turn it.

And instead of the board being locked in a straight position, I can rotate this, I can angle the lumber, maybe I have uneven cargo or I need to create a layout that better fits what I'm hauling. This is a great option. And then when you don't need the board, you can simply remove this from the E-Track, put it away. You can pull the lumber out, fold this back against the wall if you wanna just keep it in place. Totally up to you.

Lots of different options. So I do like the fact that it has that hinge. And again, this connects directly to Snap-Loc or standard E-Track. So again, you can use this spring lever here to release it and put it in place when the time comes. So again, folks, you do have a couple options of securing lumber, as well.

There's two mounting holes here. If you want to permanently mount this, you got holes like that, you can do that. Or you can just leave it unattached and just put it in here and let it sit there to give you quick removal. And again, you have holes here on the side, too. They're elongated, as well.

So again, you can reposition this when needed, and you got the hinge part. This is quantity one, Snap-Loc E-Track Wood Beam End Socket. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
