Changing loads can leave you fighting slack or poor tie-down angles. This 12' E-track ratchet strap connects directly to Snap-Loc or standard E-track, while the ratchet and soft loop give you firm tension with a protected contact point.
Changing cargo can leave you needing a different tie-down angle from one load to the next. E-track fittings at both ends connect your 12' strap to Snap-Loc anchors or standard E-track (each sold separately), while the ratchet on the fixed 18" lead end cranks out slack and locks your strap tight. Once it's cinched down, your cargo stays restrained at the tension you set.
The built-in loop end can wrap around your gear as a soft tie-down where you don't want a metal fitting at the contact point. Hook-and-loop ties also gather excess webbing after the ratchet is set, keeping the unused length wrapped up instead of hanging loose around your cargo.
Tie-down anchors must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the anchors being used. For example, if you are using anchors with a WLL of 100 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 400 lbs, then you need at least 4 anchors to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use anchors in pairs.

Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a look at the Snap-Loc E-track ratchet strap tie down. So folks, when you're hauling different types of cargo in your trailers, trucks, or vans, having E-track gives you a lot of flexibility as far as with where you can place those tie downs, right So if you have your stick of E-track, now you can put tie downs almost every two inches, more or less, depending on how long my E-track is. And that's going to be a great thing. But instead of looking for a hook point or trying to make your strap reach a different anchor that's in a good location, you can connect these directly to those anchors right here.
And that snaps right into the Z-track with ease. And one thing I like about this is this soft strap. It doubles as the strap as you saw whenever you had it all wound up. Bear with me here. But once you get it all unwound and everything for using it, it also is going to protect the metal from rubbing against anything that you're trying to tie down.
(strap clanking) As you can see, I got 12 foot here of strap, two inch wide. So I got lots of strap. Okay, here we go. And like I was saying, now that I've got this opened up, I have this nice soft spot here. That way if I'm ratcheting it down stuff, it's going to protect everything from scratching.
And then of course I have the other end that goes into another location on that E-track. And then I have a loop on this end right here. And then obviously, just like every other strap, (buckle clicking) I can simply ratchet it or loosen it for whenever it's time to loosen everything up. So once everything is tied down, again that included hook and loop lets me bundle up any extra webbing as well and put it all in here to keep it all out of the way. Now this whole strap is rated with a 4,400 pound brake strength.
It is corrosion resistant. And again, the important thing with securing your cargo is that every strap is going to have what's called a safe working load limit. So 4,400 pound brake strength, but as you can see on the strap itself, 1467 pounds safe working load limit. So just make sure you're double checking all those numbers and getting everything correctly strapped based on the rating you need for your situation. Folks, that's going to wrap up our look together.
