Hey Gregg! Yes, you can reinstall that hitch cutout cover after installing the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 7-Way Trailer Connector # C76RV. This doesn't come with a mounting bracket, so it can sit wherever and however you want. When we installed the wiring harness on an Acadia we used the No-Drill Mount for Electrical Mounting Bracket # 18140 along with the # PK12711U to attach it to the hitch.
What are you towing with your Traverse?
