Features to know about

Installs Fast Without Cutting or Splicing: Plug-In T-Connector Design

Running trailer wiring often means cutting into factory wires, but this harness skips all that. The Curt T-Connector plugs in line with the existing tail light wiring, so you get a 4-flat trailer connector without any splicing or wire tracing. It’s ready to use right out of the box and connects cleanly for a quick setup.

Adds a 4-Way Connection for Basic Trailer Lights: Running, Turn, and Brake Signals

Once connected, the harness gives you a standard 4-flat output that powers your trailer’s running lights, turn signals, and brake lights. It’s the essential first step for towing small or mid-size trailers and makes it easy to upgrade later if you need a 7-way for brakes or a 12V charge line.

Simple Path to a 7-Way Upgrade: Works with ETBC7 Kit for Brake Controllers

If you plan to tow a trailer with electric brakes or need accessory power, this 4-way sets the foundation. You can easily pair it with the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter #ETBC7 to add a fully functional 7-way connector. That setup supports brake control and trailer battery charging without redoing your wiring.

Clean, Factory-Style Fit: Discreet Vehicle-End Connector

The harness uses a plug-in vehicle-end connector that fits neatly behind panels and trim. With no converter box or extra modules to mount, it keeps the wiring out of sight and protected while maintaining easy access to your 4-flat plug when you’re ready to tow.

From further inspection, I do see that this does not look like the plug you are supposed to be plugging this harness c55350 into. In the background of the photo you provided, the plug that you are supposed to be using is plugged into the vehicle behind the plug at the forefront. That plug would need to be undone and the T-harness c55350 would be connected. Generally, with these harnesses they will tie into the taillights, opposed to the OEM Ford plug that would plug into that plug at the forefront of your picture.

  • Brake Controller Installation and Recommendation for a 1996 Ford Bronco
At this time we have not had he chance to video a brake controller installation on a 1996 Ford Bronco. I do have some information that will be helpful though. If your Bronco has a factory 7-Way connector at the rear of the vehicle or if you have a factory tow package there will be a plug along the left frame rail behind the rear bumper. If this plug is present then you can look for a brake controller connector under the dash above the transmission hump. This connector will match up to...

  • Recommended 7-Way Wiring Harness and Hitch for a 1993 Ford Bronco
Since your 1993 Ford Bronco already has a 4-way wiring harness like item # C55350, you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller item # ETBC7. The kit includes a pre-wired 7- and 4-way trailer connector that mounts to the rear of your Bronco with an included bracket. This kit is designed for use on a vehicle with an existing 4-way flat trailer connector and plugs directly into it.  You will then connect the blue wire to the blue wire on the brake controller,...

  • What is the Highest Rated Trailer Hitch Available for a 1996 Ford Bronco
The highest rated available trailer hitches I can find for a 1996 Ford Bronco are Class IV hitches. We carry the CURT Trailer Hitch, # 14001. This hitch does not fit cab and chassis models or models with a roll pan bumper. It is a Class IV hitch rated for 1,000 pounds tongue weight and 10,000 pounds gross trailer weight, 12,000 pounds when used with weight distribution. I have included a link to the installation instructions. If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the etrailer Ball...

  • Installation Of Hopkins Agility Brake Controller # HM47294 On My 1992 Ford Bronco
When installing the Hopkins Agility Brake Controller, part # HM47294, on your 1992 Ford Bronco, you will not need the Ford adapter, part # HM47715, as it is not compatible with your 1992 Ford Bronco. To install the Hopkins Brake Controller # HM47294 on your 1992 Ford Bronco, you will need to install a 4-Way Connector, the T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness, part # C55350, if you do not already have a 4-Way on your vehicle. You will need to use Brake Controller 7 & 4 Way Installation Kit,...

  • 7-Way, 4-Way and Brake Controller Recommendation for a 1995 Ford Bronco
You will need to start with a 4-way (if you do not have one in working order). For that you would want the # C55350. From there you would need to convert the 4-way to a 7-way so that you can install the brake controller. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well. The connector has both a 7-way and a 4-way connector on it. For a brake controller I would recommend...

  • Does Gas Tank have to be Loosened to Install Trailer Hitch on a 1995 Ford Bronco
The notes I have on installing Curt trailer hitch # 14001 on a 1995 Ford Bronco only say that you may need to loosen the bumper and reposition it upward and that the spare tire may need to be repositioned. Loosening the bumper will allow you more clearance to tighten the bolts. It sounds like you already have the hitch. If you plan on doing some towing and need additional accessories I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # EBMK2416. It includes a ball mount, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip,...

  • Parts Needed to Tow 1974 Ford Bronco with 1995 Bronco That Has No Hitch or Trailer Wiring
If you are thinking of flat-towing, an electric trailer brake controller like the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 # 90885 cannot be used for your application since your towed vehicle does not have electric brakes. Also, another complication is that we do not offer any tow bar base plates for the 1974 Ford Bronco; you would have to have base plates custom fabricated, which could be potentially very costly. I have linked an article that provides a lot of important information on the requirements for...
