Race Ramps XTenders work in conjunction with 67" Race Ramps to create a lower incline for your low-ground-clearance vehicle. The ramp extensions reduce the 10.8 degree angle of approach of 67" Race Ramps to 6.6 degrees, which allows you to lift your vehicle without worrying about scraping its front end. Once your vehicle is in place, the XTenders can be removed for more access to your vehicle's undercarriage.
These ramps are made of ultra-strong, solid core, high-density EPS foam that won't crack or bounce. Each ramp supports 1,500 lbs - giving you a total weight capacity of 3,000 lbs. They are lightweight, weighing no more than 10 pounds per ramp, so you can transport and store them with ease.
The ramps are covered with a textured coating. This keeps them from skidding when you drive up on them. The coating is a hybrid polyurea compound that is resistant to water and other automotive chemicals commonly found around the garage. And although this coating is durable, it will not scratch, mark, or scrape your garage floor or the ground.

Zack: Hey, everybody Zack here at etrailer.com. And today we're going to be taking a look at the extenders for race ramp. Now these work with the 67" XT race ramps, and that's a solid set of ramps. They do have an issue with lower profile cars getting up on it without scraping underneath. And these are going to allow us to have a better angle to give us better ground clearance. Now, if we take a closer look at them, you can see what the overall 47" extension.
It's going to take our angle from 10.8 degrees down to 6.6. So, it's going to give us much better clearance when we're trying to get our car up on these ramps. You can see it works right in line with the two-piece that we have here today, but it works the same with the one-piece depending on which one you have.I personally liked the two-piece, cause I can break all three of these down. There are ramps out there that are this full length, but I like being able to just take them apart. You can see, pretty lightweight.
This one, especially is not going to have a lot of weight to it. But being able to break it down and store it in the trailer or in my garage, and I don't have to have really long ramps hanging out. I think that's a really big benefit to this style. Another thing to keep in mind is the 12" max tire width. So, it's going to be right in line with the rest of the ramp.
It's constructed of the same EPS foam core that the original ramps are constructed of. So, they're really solid. They're going to be really nice and they're not going to have any issues with cracking. Now they do have a weight limit of 3000 pounds for the set that's 1500 pounds per ramp. So, you don't want to exceed that. And you can see the pavement's wet here.
We had a pretty good rainstorm come through while we we're getting set up and they've been sitting out here in the sun for maybe 10, 15 minutes. And for couple spots here, there's some left, but they're already dry, got most of that texture back. Even when they we're wet, like this part underneath here is still a little wet, I can still feel that texture. Now, you can see what that texture on there. It's still a little bit slick, but it's much better than something like a steel ramp or some of the other styles out there. And I think they're going to do a good job of holding in place with that design that your original two-piece style has where they interlock with one another. And that pressure goes down as you're putting weight on it.Overall, when we have the extender on the two-piece design, this makes the overall length 87". So, we're adding a little bit of length, but that's what we're going to get out of that. Just imagine trying to store 87" ramps in your trailer, in your garage. So, that three-piece design there I think is going to be really nice, whenever we're trying to get a car like this up off the ground.Since we do have it on the ground here, let's show you the struggle we had with trying to put it on with just the original set and then the difference the extender makes. As you can see here, Jeff doesn't even have his tires on the ramps yet and his front end is going to make contact. So, we're going to have him back up. We're going to put those in place and we're going to see how much better clearance we get.So, we just drop them in place, get them lined up. You can see right there, we're getting that extension out. That's where these lightweight ramps really come into play. So, you may want to flip it over, but to know that you've got the right side up, you want the weight rating and the logo to be on the ground there. So, we can get those lined up. And there we go, we've got that in place. So, let's have Jeff pull up and we'll see how much better clearance we get there. I can see you had no issues with him getting up there. We didn't have any issues with the front end scraping right there. So, it's a much easier way to get our car up on the set of ramps. But overall, if you're looking to add onto your race ramp XTs, this is a good way to go. It's going to allow us to have much better clearance whenever we have our low-profile cars. It's just as durable. It's the same construction it's made right here in the USA, but that's going to do it for our look at the race ramp XT extenders..
I am testing it now for each of my cars.
Product works as designed.
My second order with etrailer and both transactions were outstanding. Fast delivery, friendly communications. Highly recommend to anyone!!
These ramps work nicely with my low clearance car getting it on/off my trailer. They reduce the angle and allow the nose of the car to be high enough not too hit the ramp and help it not high center.
Love my Race ramp Xtenders. Have been using them for over one year as extensions for the ramps on my four-post car lift in my garage. No worries now when driving very low profile vehicles onto my lift. They are amazingly strong and their light weight makes them very easy to store. I highly reccommend them!
I already own a set of race ramps. I lowered my car and wanted the extenders too. etrailer had the best price I could find.
Works perfect
I’ve owned these for a year and used them for my C7 Vette. They work perfect!!
I also used the Race Ramps for my wife’s Honda CRV, my daughters Honda Accord - awesome! So much easier and safer than jacks!!
Works great and is very light weight.
High quality ramps at a solid price. Happy customer here, thank you
These extensions are required to roll a GT350 onto the 67" race ramps.
Very fast shipping, great updates throughout the entire order. Will definitely purchase from etrailer.com
again!!
I like the weight of the ramps and they are perfect for what I need them for.
