Get a safer, more gradual incline for loading your vehicle or equipment onto your trailer with these extra-long, foldable ramps. Serrated aluminum panels let your wheels get a grip, even in wet weather. Each ramp can handle 3,000 lbs.
Features:
Specs:
Each of these heavy-duty Gen-Y Hitch ramps has a large, sturdy hook welded to the top. These hooks tightly grab onto the edge of your trailer deck. With this secure grip, the ramps will stay connected to your trailer as you load your equipment.
At 96", these Gen-Y Hitch ramps are long enough to maintain a gentle angle so that you can gradually drive your vehicle up and into your trailer bed. In addition, the slight incline will make it easier to maneuver your vehicle up the ramps, and it will exert less wear on your vehicle's engine than driving up a steep slope.

Hi, everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at these GEN-Y Aluminum Car Ramps. So these ramps are gonna be able to handle 3000 pounds per side for a combined total of 6000 pounds, so keep that in mind with whatever vehicles you end up loading on here. And one of the standout features is the impressive length. They're gonna be 96 inches long, and part of the way they're able to achieve that is the fact that when they're not in use, they actually fold in half so it compacts it down quite a bit.
We'll check that out later. But because they fold and they can ship in a smaller package, that means you get a longer ramp when they're actually in use. And that's gonna result in a much more gradual slope, making it easier to load things up onto your trailer or back them down off. Now this is designed on the trailer side to hook into a lip on the deck of your trailer. Ours today doesn't have that, so we're using some pretty tight straps to wedge this in and hold it into the corner of the trailer.
Your trailer at home might have that spot to hook into, and that's great. If it doesn't, you'd probably want to consider making some modifications, or pick up straps like we did because the straps aren't included. All throughout the rungs, you're gonna see some pretty aggressive tread. That's gonna help make sure that your tires get great traction going up these boards, even in wet or muddy conditions. And at the very end of the ramp, whenever we get this transition, it looks pretty aggressive and like it wouldn't be the smoothest thing in the world.
But again, because all of that tread is there, we can grip onto it pretty well and it makes for a fairly smooth transition. They're also gonna be 15 inches wide, which is gonna give us just a little bit more wiggle room whenever we're trying to get our tires lined up. And if you do shift side to side a little bit, we're not gonna be hitting the edges or potentially we're falling off. Now when the rams are all done getting used, like I said, you can fold them up. And it's a perfect time to point out that these are heavy and that hinge is gonna be pretty stiff.
Watch your fingers because that is, of course, a pinch point. But each ramp is about 60 pounds, so they're not light by any means. But folded down like this, we're gonna be working with now 48 inches of length. So that's a lot more compact. And when you do grab it, it's easy enough to carry around, but it's not something I would necessarily want to do. We worked with a set of ramps that have the exact same weight capacity earlier that didn't fold, and they are so much lighter. So if you're looking for something easy to transport, I'd go with those. But the stability and the extra length that you get with the GEN-Ys are certainly worth it, and it's something that I would consider overlooking just due to the fact that you get those extra benefits here. So if you're looking for some of the longest ramps you can get and you're worried about storing them when they're not in use, I think these options from GEN-Y are gonna be the ones for you. But like I said, we've got plenty of other styles on our site, both in the same weight capacity and different ones. So if you need a set of ramps for maybe some smaller equipment like a golf cart or a lawnmower, you can find those here at etrailer too. But that was just our look at the GEN-Y Car Hauler Ramps. Thanks for watching.

Every thing was good took a little longer than what was stated and had to meet driver because of location couldn’t get tractor trailer in , but overall everything was good
Purchased the ramp extensions to eliminate the problem of my car scraping on the trailer ramps. The extensions reduced the angle of the ramps and eliminated the scraping. Being very light weight, the ramp extensions are easy to handle. They are very well made and stand up to repeated uses and driving vehicles over them.
Well built and able to move alone.
Shipment came with deep gouges on corners of tube. Will watch for cracking and bending due to damage
I load 7500 lb. equipment with them and they still look fantastic and showing no wear.
The quality and materials used in construction was quite a bit more than what I had expected. These ramps are quite a prize.
They arrived at my location late last night, however, one could tell immediately construction and material was quite above average… This is a 4.0 Piece of gear.
This is a heavy duty ramp! Had a little issue with package but trailer made everything all right! Very satisfied
The value of what you get for your money punches way above the price, these are very strong and well built. I bought two sets. I use them for loading vehicles and equipment onto my gooseneck trailer when my max ramps get in the way. Highly recommended!
Great price on awesome ramps. Would I highly recommend these ramps and etrailer!
These ramps (Gen-YHitch 7’ long , 6000 lbs.)are great. They are light weight but very strong. I am using these ramps to load a 3500 lb. tractor. There is little to no flexing of the ramps as I load this tractor. Great ramps!!!
Well built, nice ramps, only used once but they seem great
good quality
Well made and much lighter than steel r amps.
Product works great for me no problem loading vehicles on my trailer. Their light weight and easy to hook to my trailer. Wide rungs . Over all worth the money I invested in them.
Haven’t unboxed them yet but look good so far .
Awesome place to do business with. I order heavy duty ramps for my traier. Cheapest place i found them. They came in within 4 days. The exact day they said they would be delivered. Amy stayed in contact with me through email from day one. 100% recommend doing business with these folks. I know i will from now on!
Great for loading 4,000lbs mini skid steer onto 450 flatbed truck.
These ramps are very well built and lightweight to move around. They easily held my 6500 pound skid loader.
No more dealing with the back breaking steel ramps that came with my trailer.
Great build quality,Fast shipping.I would buy from this company again.
Well built, look great, fit my trailer great, haven't pulled truck onto them yet but dont think their will be any issues w my short bed square body chevy.
I'm 70 plus years now. I can still move these slowly but at least I can do this on my own...for now. The ramps before were steel but to short for my use with my custom lowered classics I own. The do a great job, however, getting them up into my bed of my truck is tricky at my age. My current vehicles are just a bit to low to allow the ramps to sit underneath on the trailer deck. One of my son's will help me load up the vehicles but at least I can still do most on my own. I just used these this past weekend to trailer up my vehicles for a local car show.
Thank you for the suggestion through the chat service. When not in use I strap them down tight to the trailer bed. I might be looking at a custom fab to slid these under my trailer if there is room. Thank you again. I truly enjoy this wider and longer ramps.
The ramps work good for me, I carry a small car in the back of my pick-up, for me the ramp angle is acceptable and the capacity of the ramps is well over the load that I apply (I don't drive up, I have a bed mounted winch I use).
The ramps are awesome, five star, but I REALLY should have purchased the 8’ ramps. (Seriously, very well built and qualify product.) I do not have drop axles on my trailer so the incline for the 6’ ramps is steeper than I like. Unfortunately for me I already used them so returning was not an option and I don’t have the money to just buy another set so I have to make these work.
If you are thinking of these ramps do not doubt yourself, get them. Just be mindful of the load angle and if not 100% sure, get the 8’ ramps. Really wish I got the 8’ ramps.
Nice ramps! This is where my 550 Spyder lives
Excellent quality... superior strength.....very portable......BUT the end of the ramp that you hook to the trailer is not "deep" enough allowing the ramp to fall to the ground as the vehicle tire rolls on to the trailer. This does not happen all of the time, but does happen enough to be a serious problem getting the ramp, using multiple jacks, to get the ramp reattached to the trailer. Adding 1-2 inches onto the "hook" end of the ramp ( ie making it deeper) would solve the problem. I would then rate it a 5. Hopefully the manufacturer will read this and make an inexpensive and quick adjustment to their manufacturing process and the problem will be solved.
