Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Derale Remote Oil Filter Mount with the three eights inch NPT Side Ports. Now this will let you increase your oil capacity, while providing additional filtration using this remote mount system. Basically, this will allow you to remote mount your oil filter anywhere in the engine compartment. It allows you to install your new filter in a convenient location for quicker and easier oil changes.

It is a single filter design. Has the side ports right here, left and right side ports. And this part is constructed of a nice, heavy duty, high quality aluminum features. The three bolt mounting plate for added security. And if you notice, it does include these extra parts.

This is the filter nipple that'll install onto your oil filter and allow it to screw into there. And these two are the port plugs that you'll put on where you need to put those. The ports themselves, their size is three eight inch NPT by half inch. The engine filter thread size is three quarter inch by 16. And the filter landing size here is two and a half inch and two and three quarter inch.
