Improves towing significantly with the towing tune. To a lesser extent improves gas mileage with the economy tune. Greatly improves throttle response with the performance tune. I very much recommend!
Before purchasing this "box tuner", I did quite a bit of research. This will not get you the most possible peak power from the engine, but it does exactly what I needed which is to disable the AFM/DOD. It does add a little to the peak HP and Torque but the real W is the power it adds at the lower RPM range of the engine. I noticed fewer down-shifts on slight inclines and a snappier throttle response at slower speeds. I also don't need the plug-in AFM Delete module any longer!

Had an EDGE tuner for my '08 F250 that I liked better. This one is kind of slow to update the computer (2 files, with lots of ignition off/on cycles). I tried the Performance tune and went for a quick ride. Yep, it worked. Loaded the Towing program, we'll see how that works out.

Only the preinstalled updates are available, so unfortunately there is no way to do custom updates with this. There may be updates available on Superchips website that you can download onto this device using the included USB. Hopefully in the future, there will be a new quicker install update available.
Very nice works great and very easy to operate. The ford F150 has a lot more throttle power and it is great for towing. I would advise anyone who needs a tune up or wants to tow to definitely.get one. Best money i've spent in a long time.
Took about 10 mins for the PCM to upload the stock tune then about another 5 minutes to program the Fuel savings tune, I could almost instantly notice a difference. I drive a pretty steep hill on my way to work and always have to downshift and lose speed near the top, not anymore I can take the hill in 5th and Speed up as well. 20 HP doesn’t seem like much but it makes a huge difference. Next text will be when I tow my RV to the coast on the heavy towing tune.
Great fuel economy it doubled my mpg. The performance is great it adds alot of extra power. Havent tried the towing yet but if i have no dout that it will work just ass good as the rest of the of them. Thanks alot.
Really helped unlocking power at lower RPM with heavy trailer load. Easy to use.
Product arrived on time. Works as advertised. Easy plug and play type interface. Like being able to change my trucks program as I see fit. Would recommend to anyone that likes tweaking cars and trucks.

I had to update the tuner two times in order to get the tunes for my truck once I got the tune installed it don’t change my shift points in the transmission my first chip I got back in 2000 changed my shift points as well up the horse power .you would think we’d have better technology in 2021.
I had called the tech line about four times and all the techs I talked to were nice and helpful.

Super chip tuner About a year ago I installed super chip tune I installed the light tow tune they said it’s around 80 hp. I also installed a pyrometer known l would be towing more weight then recommended so far it’s worked out great no complaints.
The Flashpaq seems to be working really well for fuel economy but I haven't tried it with my 5th wheel yet. If it works as good as the service I had from etrailer, I don't think that I'll have any problems at all. You guys were great with keeping me updated on my order.

Have you tried the towing feature as of yet? Just curious how the Flashpaq did. I pull a 24 travel trailer with a 2005 Expedition and it needs some help!Thanks,Lonnie H
This programmer makes a big difference with my 2008 Expedition (5.4 V8, 6 speed auto). Fuel saver mode gave me around 2 mpg better on the highway, Performance 91 gives it a great snarl and significantly more power. Regular 87 mode, after a day or two, had smoother shifting and less gear hunting at low loads. Feels a little more powerful too. I haven't tried towing yet.

I leave it in 87 fuel saver mode. I found out that towing mode is for 91 and higher octane, so it is worthless to me. Im not going to pay 50 cents or more per gallon for towing, I will never recover the cost. That is my only dislike about this product.
