Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs and Hitch Extender for a TorkLift SuperHitch
Question:
Looking at purchasing a TLD1100 hitch for my 98 dodge and trying to find out if you offer a spacer for the cross member ends that would allow me to use my torklift tie downs for my Cabover camper?

I have a solution for you that will work great with the TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver item # TLD1100 you referenced but we do not have any spacers. Instead, you will want the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs item # TLR3503. These tie-downs insert inside TorkLift hitches frame mounted brackets. They secure your camper to your truck's base instead of its bed, which better distributes weight to keep setup from being too top-heavy.
The TorkLift SuperHitch Original Trailer Hitch Receiver item # TLD1100 is confirmed to fit your 1998 Dodge Ram. It bolts to your trucks frame with included hardware.
I recommend using the TorkLift SuperTruss Hitch Extension for SuperHitch Trailer Hitch Receivers item # TLE1548 for when you are towing a trailer with your Cabover Camper installed. This will extend your hitch receiver out 48".
You will also need the TorkLift Wiring Harness Extension item # TLW6048 to extend your 7-way the extra distance. This is a 48" extension cord for your campers 7-way.
