Class V Trailer Hitch Receiver For 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 With TorkLift Tie Downs

Question:

I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 dually with factory hitch. I have Front Torklift Part Number: D2101 and Rear Torklift Part Number: D3109 tie downs installed on my truck. I will tow 3000 pounds at the max. What class V 2 1/2 inch hitch can I use? I have the 2 1/2 inch extension I need from my previous truck.

I recommend the TorkLift SuperHitch Magnum Trailer Hitch Receiver # TLD1102-30. To install a 2-1/2" class 5 hitch on your 2005 Dodge Ram 3500 you will have to utilize a new set of rear tie downs as well. The TorkLift hitch will allow you a bolt on installation with no drilling required.

The TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLR3503 will bolt onto your new hitch since your TorkLift # TLD3109 will no longer fit your truck.
