TorkLift Truck Camper Tie Downs
- TLC3217
Highlights
Damage-Free Install: Mounts to frame using existing holes with little to no drilling.
Stable, Safe Handling: Frame mount spreads camper weight evenly and lowers center of gravity.
Rust-Resistant Strength: Black powder coated steel stands up to weather and road wear.
Secure Camper Hold: Dual anchor holes let you set the best tie-down angle for a solid grip.
Features to know about
Stable on Every Mile: Frame-Mounted Security
These rear frame-mounted tie-downs create solid attachment points that keep your camper stable mile after mile. By securing the camper to the truck’s strongest structure—the frame—you get balanced weight distribution and a lower center of gravity. That means less sway from crosswinds and better handling whether you’re cruising down the highway or navigating rough ground.
Install Without Drilling: Custom-Fit Design
These tie-downs bolt directly to pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling or modification needed. The custom fit locks them tight to the frame with minimal loss of ground clearance, giving you strength and stability without hanging parts that could snag. The result is an easy install that keeps your truck’s integrity intact.
Clean Look When Unloaded: Removable Arms
When you’re not hauling the camper, you can remove the arms from the brackets for a clean factory look. The remaining brackets sit tucked under the truck and are barely visible, so your setup stays ready for travel without changing how your truck looks day to day.
Built Tough: Powder-Coated Steel Construction
Made from black powder-coated steel, these tie-downs stand up to weather, road salt, and heavy use. The durable finish resists corrosion and keeps the metal protected trip after trip. It’s a rugged setup that stays strong through long hauls, rough roads, and harsh conditions.
Each arm has two pin holes so you can extend it as needed to clear sidewalls or fenders and line up with your camper’s anchor points. Two holes in the attachment plate let you choose the best angle for a tight, multi-directional hold. That adjustability keeps your camper firmly in place without rubbing against your truck.

Kit was complete and easy to install. The eTrailer install video on product page was very helpful. Took about 3 hours to install front and rear kits, and that included a sandwich and coffee break. ( RV dealer quoted me 4-6 hours @ $165/hour). Kit lined up with frame mounts exactly. I recommend a helper if you’re installing with truck in the driveway. 1501641

The camper tie downs fit my truck perfectly. Their size and weight made the installation intimidating, but your videos helped, and your written instructions are very good. I like how your instructions directed me to install the difficult side first (passenger or driver side). Unfastening the "fish wire" from the bolt is not easy - you could include extra fish wire. I have a GMC 3500 dually, stock, and I installed these tie downs as the truck sat on the ground, about a two hour project, and I'm 69. 1193366

Was sent the wrong kit for the rear initially even after talking with 2 different people about my installation needs. The first shipment was late. I did not order from local vendor for same product at the same price because I needed my order quickly. Turns out I paid extra shipping to receive my mounts at a later date and get charged shipping for the wrong rear kit and the replacement kit both ways!!! 1624807

Hello John.
Great question, and congrats on the upgrade to the 3500. For your new 2015 Chevy Silverado 3500 I am showing that the TorkLift Camper Tie-Downs - Custom Frame Mount - Front # TLC2219 will transfer over just fine as long as the truck is a crew cab with 8 foot bed.
For the rear mount I am showing that the # TLC3212 will NOT work with the 2015, the last year they worked for was the 2014, so they must have modified the frame in 2015. For the correct rear tie downs you want TorkLift... view full answer...
I have a solution for Truck Camper's needs.
The first thing you will need is the tie-down equipment. The front tie-downs that are custom fit for your 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500 are Tork-Lift # TLC2220.
The rear custom kit depends on a few details:
If you have a dual rear wheel with no running boards and a factory hitch installed: # TLC3217.
If you have a single rear wheel no running boards and a factory hitch installed: # TLC3215.
If you have no running boards and torklift hitch installed:... view full answer...
The TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs - Rear # TLC3217 you referenced will not interfere with the MagnaFlow # MF17976 in stainless steel. The camper tie-down mounts to the frame directly and the exhaust will use the rubber hangers just like the factory exhaust. If you decide you want more clearance you can simply bend the attached hanger bracket or you can use longer rubber connectors. view full answer...
The Brophy Clamp On Camper Tie-Downs # HSAB are a universal fit camper tie-down. They can work with DRW trucks, which is why it showed up in the fitguide as an option for your 2018 Chevy Silverado 3500, but you will want to take some measurements first.
Since these hang over the side of the bedrails and angle down there is a chance that the wheel well of a dually will interfere. I've included a dimensional drawing to help you determine if these will fit.
If not, then I recommend going... view full answer...
I recommend using the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs for a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 3500 Crew Cab Dually Long Bed. I checked with TorkLift and the correct kit for the front is part # TLC2219 and the correct kit for the rear is part # TLC3217. For turnbuckles, I recommend the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles part # TLS9526-2-LK. view full answer...
If I'm understanding you correctly, the Pin Locks for TorkLift FastGun and Derringer Turnbuckle Handles # TLS9500 will not replace the small adjustment pin on the TorkLift Custom Frame-Mounted Camper Tie-Downs # TLC3217.
These locks are meant to replace the pins that hold the handles in the closed position on the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles for Frame-Mounted Tie-Downs # TLS9529-2-LK.
If that's what you mean then these will work as a replacement, however if you did mean the small... view full answer...
Yes we do, for the rear tie downs you'd want the # TLC3217 and then for the front # TLC4204 and you'd be set. I confirmed with Torklift that these are the correct fit for your 2016 GMC Sierra 3500 dually with the full length running boards. view full answer...
