These rear tie-downs mount directly to your truck’s frame, giving your camper a solid anchor point that keeps it stable even on long, rough drives. By securing at the frame—the strongest part of the truck—the system spreads the camper’s weight across the whole bed and lowers the center of gravity. That means you avoid the top-heavy feel that can cause sway or push from crosswinds, and your truck handles much like it does without a camper on board.
The tie-downs attach to pre-existing holes in the frame, so there’s little to no drilling or modification needed. This bolt-on setup keeps your truck’s frame intact while ensuring everything lines up precisely for a snug fit. Because they mount tight to the frame, you keep nearly all of your ground clearance—no low-hanging parts to snag when driving on uneven ground.
Each tie-down is built from black powder coated steel that resists rust and corrosion even after exposure to road salt or wet conditions. That heavy-duty construction means you can count on them to hold up over years of hauling without weakening or flaking apart.
When you’re not carrying your camper, just pull the arms out of their brackets and they practically disappear from view. The brackets stay tucked flush under the vehicle so your truck keeps its clean lines and doesn’t look like it’s outfitted for hauling full-time.

Each arm has two pin holes so you can extend it just enough to clear fenders or sidewalls, while the attachment plate gives you two anchor holes to fine-tune your tie-down angle. That flexibility helps you get a solid, balanced connection between camper and truck for a more secure hold on every trip.

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at these Torklift custom frame mounted rear camper tie downs. Now these tie downs are going to provide attachment points at the back of your truck bed for securing a bed mounted camper. Turn buckles are required to attach a camper to these tie downs, and those are sold separately. So if you do not already have turn buckles, you can find them here at etrailer.com. Now these have been designed to fit your 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator with the factory hitch, and on custom fit parts such as these tie downs, I do recommend taking advantage of our vehicle fit guide here at etrailer.com.
Just input the year, make, and model of your vehicle and answer any other questions the fit guide might have for you, and the fit guide will confirm that these will work for you or if we have something comparable that will work for you. You can also find the front tie downs that you need for your vehicle using the fit guide as well. Just go through the same process and you'll be able to find the front tie downs for your vehicle. Now I do wanna mention that if you have a plastic or spray-in bed liner, it is important that you use a rubber mat under the camper to eliminate any sliding or bouncing. So the frame mounted design is going to ensure excellent handling because securing your camper to your truck's base instead of its bed, is going to better distribute weight to keep your setup from being too top-heavy.
These brackets are going to fit tight to the frame of your truck, so there will be no loss of ground clearance, and these are gonna use preexisting holes in the frame so there's gonna be little to no drilling required. These steel tie down inserts are going to secure to these durable steel receiver brackets, and these inserts can be easily removed from the frame mounted brackets with the included bale pins. And once you have them removed, they're gonna be virtually undetectable so I'm gonna go ahead and just give you a brief demonstration of that. So I went ahead and removed the pin here. I'm just going to remove the insert.
So as you can see, when you have that insert removed, you're really not gonna be able to see that receiver bracket and you can just take the inserts and maybe put 'em in the back of the cab of your truck when you're not using them. I did want to point out that we do have these two holes here on these inserts, and those are the holes that the safety pin's gonna go through; the bale pin's gonna go through. So for instance, if your camper is a little bit wider, you would use this first hole on the insert to have this tie down point stick out a little bit farther. If your camper is a little bit narrower, you can move it into that second hole. And so just to make sure that this is going to fit on my table, I'm gonna slide this back in using that second hole there, and then replace the bale pin; and then that's going to allow me to secure that insert into place, just like that.
Now these do feature a high impact powder coat finish that's going to give you an extra layer of protection to the brackets and to the inserts, and you're going to get everything that you see here on my table. You're gonna get the two rear tie down inserts, the frame brackets, the necessary hardware that you see laid out here on my table, and then instructions to guide you through the installation process. And these are made here in the USA, and they do have a lifetime warranty from Torklift. Well, that's gonna wrap up our quick look today, I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.

These tie downs are sill working as advertised. I have travelled over 20,000 mi with them in various conditions with about 10 of that time in dirt roads or 4wd roads. Nothing too crazy, but with my camper and these tied downs I am confident that the camper will remain attached and be secure. It hardly moves around at all. They are worth the money and I can still remember how easily they installedvery welll thought out design and installation!

Product is working great , what is fantastic is the engineering for the fit to the vehicle and the tools they give you to fish and hold bolts where they need to be during installation. Great thought process for instruction for installation.

They are starting to rust significantly. That is very disappoint considering the very high cost of these. It is interesting that they dont allow pictures of the product for this update.

Thank you for your photo. Torklift does recommend to use the hitch adapter for the 2020 Ford F-250. The adapter does need to be turn horizontally to fit inside the hitch not vertically.

Bought these tie-downs a year ago and they have proven to be easy to use, very sturdy, and hold my Palomino to the truck bed tightly.
