Features to know about
Secure Heavy Loads: Frame-Mounted Strength
When you’re carrying a camper or any top-heavy cargo, you need tie-downs that won’t flex or loosen over time. These TorkLift ApexAnchors bolt directly to the frame—the strongest part of your truck—for a rock-solid connection that keeps your load stable mile after mile. With a 2,000-lb capacity per anchor point, they’re built for serious hauling and deliver the same secure ride on or off the pavement.
Keep Ground Clearance: Fully In-Bed Design
No one wants tie-downs that hang low or snag on rough terrain. These anchors mount through the bed and sit flush when not in use, giving you absolutely zero loss of ground clearance. That means you can head off-road or down uneven trails without worrying about dragging hardware underneath. When you’re not hauling a camper, your truck still handles and clears obstacles just like normal.
Use Your Truck Bed Like Always: Retractable Anchor Points
When you’re done camping, these anchors retract completely into the bed so they’re invisible and out of the way. You can load up gear, tools, or even use them as anchor points for motorcycles and ATVs thanks to their 2,000-lb capacity per point. Nothing sticks out or blocks access to your bed, so your truck stays fully functional for everyday use.
Straightforward Install: Bolt-On with Minimal Drilling
These tie-downs fit existing holes in the truck frame, cutting down on complexity and preserving strength. The only drilling needed is a single hole in the bed surface to pass the anchor through. It’s a straightforward setup that most DIYers can handle with standard tools, even if there’s a spray-in bed liner installed.
Built for a Solid Ride: Custom Fit and Stability
Because they’re custom fit and frame-mounted, these anchors keep the camper’s center of gravity low and evenly distributed across the bed. That means less sway from crosswinds and fewer jolts from bumps in the road. The result is a safer, more comfortable ride whether you’re crossing states or heading into rough country.

The anchor itself is awesome. Very easy to install with excellent instructions. The only thing I have is the placement of the anchor. It’s 14 1/2 inches back from the front of my box . I would like it to be 11 inches farther forward. My anchor strap on my 620 cirrus camper is 9 1/2 inches back from the front of my box . I will still have to use the anchor in the truck bed to keep the camper sliding back. 3604208

Hi Shane; the rear TorkLift ApexAnchors # TL86SV (F6001) are actually available now so we can get them to you right away. These are designed to fit your 2017 F-150 if you have the 6-1/2' bed.
However, the front TorkLift ApexAnchors # TL76SV (F5001) are still a pre-order. We currently show them coming in late August but that is always subject to change. If you order them now we will get them sent out to you as soon as they come in.
You will also need the TorkLift FastGun Apex Truck Camper... view full answer...
Howdy Lakesha, yes the TorkLift ApexAnchors tie downs part # TL76SV that you referenced will work on trucks with a spray in bed liner. The install process is not too difficult either but you will need to drill through the truck bed. Definitely doable for a DIYer like yourself Lakesha. view full answer...
Hey Jimmy! The TorkLift ApexAnchors Truck Camper Tie-Downs # TL76SV do require specific turnbuckles. What you need are the TorkLift FastGun Apex Truck Camper Turnbuckles # TL88SV. This is just the front set of tie-downs so for the rear you need the # TL86SV or we have the pair together under # TL57QV.

Hey Barney, when not in use the ApexAnchor tie downs part # TL86SV and # TL76SV does allow you full access to your truck bed as they sit flush when not being used. You also did hear correctly and you can use these as anchor points too. These have a 2,000 lb capacity. So if you had four 2,000 lb dinosaurs in your truck bed you'd be able to use one for each of them! view full answer...
Hey Blake, yes the Apex Anchor tie downs part # TL86SV and # TL76SV do fit your 2023 Ford F-150 with a factory hitch and running boards. Since these install through the truck bed the running boards and factory hitch would not be an issue at all. view full answer...
Hello again Kevin; the TorkLift ApexAnchors # TL76SV fit existing holes in the frame. The only drilling will be for the hole in your truck bed. I'm not sure what size hole is required since this is still a pre-order and there are no instructions to reference. If you need this information I would be happy to reach out to TorkLift when they're back in the office this week and find out. view full answer...
