Note: Tie-down straps must be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). The weight of the secured cargo must not exceed the combined WLL of the straps being used. For example, if you are using straps with a WLL of 500 lbs each to tie down a load weighing 1,000 lbs, then you need at least 2 straps to safely secure that load. It is recommended that you always use straps in pairs.
The transom (stern, or rear of your boat) provides important tie-down points for securing your boat to your trailer. These transom straps are intended to be part of a boat tie-down system, and they should always be used along with a bow strap and at least one gunwale strap, for safe trailering.
A tie-down system is only as strong as its weakest link. Heat, humidity, and salt from road treatments or ocean spray all contribute to rust, which causes the hooks and buckles in most tie-downs to weaken, seize, and possibly break. The stainless steel components in these Kwik-Lok transom tie-downs provide maximum corrosion resistance. No more hard-to-open buckles or rusted hooks. In other words, no more weak links.
The Kwik-Lok buckles on these transom straps can be easily opened and closed with one hand, which simplifies the process of tightening the straps down. To release each strap, simply pop open its rustproof stainless steel buckle. Then pull the strap through and snap the buckle down to close it. Each sturdy polypropylene strap is woven through its over-center buckle. So once the buckle is closed, it will help maintain tension on the strap, keeping your boat more firmly secured than with a standard cam buckle.
To protect your boat's paint finish, each ratchet buckle sits on a web pad.

Good quality for a good price
Took just minutes to install and should not rust lik other brands because they are made of 300 series stainless steel.
Products met my expectations. Delivery was on time. Good descriptions of merchandise online. Would recommend etrailer to others.
Now I can strap it on and go to town!
I doubt you can beat these straps for the price. As opposed to the stock/OEM straps, I really like the feel of what I would describe as a positive lock or "snap", when these are engaged. My only concern might be overall longevity/durability, as these straps aren't as heavy as the original OEM that I used for nearly 10 years. But again, at this price point, you can afford to replace them more often.
The handle bar on the cam lock is a little short.

WE find these tie downs to be very handy. They work best, if they can be placed in a direct line from boat to anchor point. Takes a little time to get used to how tight to pull them before you snap down the lever. Once that is established they work well. Glad we got them.
Good value for this boat tie down
Needed the extra length for the front of a pontoon to keep it from bouncing. Longer straps are hard to find and didn't want ratchet or cam straps. Quality is fine for the price and what I'm using them for but would go with better quality straps for critical strapping needs.
These are awesome tie downs. They’re simple to use and work well where I live the hwy department puts chemicals on the road to melt snow/ice and that clogs ratchet models but no problems with these! Thanks Cody R for all your help.

Great replacement for my 20 year old Boat Buckle transom straps. Being stainless these should outlast the original steel ones.
Exactly what we needed. We also ordered a swivel jack. Excellent customer service, they even contacted me about a possible different part since the swivel jack I ordered was a bit delayed. Will definitely save this business as a favorite when we need replacements!

Excellent after a year! The kwik-lok tie downs are still like new and the swivel jack is so much better than our old one. Still very pleased with this purchase!
