Secure your boat's bow to your trailer with this heavy-duty, first-generation BoatBuckle tie-down strap. It is simple to hook up and gives you peace of mind during transport. 1,200 lbs Max load.

Loop the hook end of the strap around your trailer's frame and through the loop end. Once your boat is loaded, attach the hook to the tie-down anchor on the bow of your boat. Pull the other loop end of the strap to remove any slack and turn the buckle down to tighten the strap.
Note: A bow tie-down should always be used along with a winch strap and a set of transom or gunwale tie-downs. All straps and cables should be chosen according to their safe working load limit (WLL). To determine the maximum load, or break strength, of the strap, simply multiply the WLL by 3. The WLL is always one-third (1/3) of the maximum load.

Sometimes the winch loosens up and the bow rises up and down. This strap prevents that and gives piece of mind.
Does what it's supposed to do, but it is "almost" too long for my boat. There is barely enough room to "latch" it between the boat eyelet and the trailer structure. This requires a moderately tall wench stand. It is easy to install and use.

Other than being a bit long, it has worked well.
This boat buckle strap works quite well as a safety for the front of my boat on the trailer.

All working well, thanks.
1 year later and still working great. On the boat while its on the trailer. Strap is a little stiff in the buckle but that's expected. Not an issue.
Stored by the harbor, saltwater and no corrosion on the metal.
My order arrived earlier than promised. And in excellent condition. All the parts worked perfectly on my Catalina 22 boat trailer modifications. I'll definitely be back when I need more parts.

OK strap for hold down.
Good product for extra security at the bow.
Used the strap loop to replace on on a seat cushion in my ski boat and it worked perfect.
simply does what it is designed to do, don't know the longevity but right now all good.

The strap is still working fine. Just finished a 700 mile trip towing my boat and the strap gives me piece of mind. Great product.
