Hi everybody. My name is Andy with etrailer.com. And today, we're taking a look at this recessed mount blue LED step and accent light. Now, this waterproof LED accent light is going to provide 180 degrees of bright blue light for steps and walkways, and the downward angle is gonna illuminate the area below. This is gonna be great for upgrading or replacing your step or walkway, or even your cabinet and your countertop lighting. Now, I have this connected to 12 volt power.
Let me go ahead and give you a brief demonstration of what this looks like when it is lit up. And with my studio lights on, you can see just how bright it is with those overhead lights on. And I'm gonna go ahead and shut those lights off, so you can see what this looks like. Blue is my favorite color, so this really gives a nice blue color lighting off. And again, it shoots it directly downward.
And so, you can just see my hand there. And let me go ahead and turn my studio lights back on. And then I'm gonna go ahead and give you a wide angle with my lights on just so you can see how bright it is with those overhead lights on. This is a premium LED in this light, so it's going to be energy efficient, it's gonna be long-lasting, and it's gonna be resistant to vibration as well. Now, this is sealed in a waterproof housing, and a clear durable, impact-resistant lens.
And that lens is, I'm gonna be, is over that blue LED within this light. Now, as you can see, this as a chrome finish. And so, this is a durable chrome plastic cover. And it has a military-grade construction of the circuit board within, so that adds to the durability and the ruggedness of this light. And then the urethane potting offers better protection than the common epoxy potting for management of heat.
Now, this is a recessed mount installation, and it does include the grommet. So, this will require a 3/4 of an inch diameter cut-out that this can install into. This is compatible with 12 volt DC systems. This is a hardwire installation, so you're gonna have the black wire on this light for ground and then the white wire is going to be power. Let me go ahead and give you some overall dimensions of this light. The overall thickness of this light is sitting right at an inch. And then the overall diameter, we're gonna be sitting right at an inch and a quarter. Now, the input voltage of this light is nine to 14 volts. And the power draw is gonna be .02 to .04 amps. And the wire length of this light is gonna be right at 7 1/2 inches long. And this light does have a limited lifetime warranty. And we also have this light available in a black housing. So, if you're not, if you're not interested in the chrome finish, you can find this with a black plastic finish. And the item number on our website is TN85VR. We used this LED light to shine on each stair leading up to the back of our house. Really works wonderfully. We also added a switch that turns them on when the sun goes down.

I was not a fan of my new 23 Alliance 31bhs not having an entry light for use at night on the outside of the camper. I purchased this light and it is amazing. Provides just enough light where it’s not too bright, but bright enough to see the steps and surrounding area. It’s probably my favorite modification I’ve done yet. Shipping and packaging were great.
Awesome light! I actually installed these on my vintage Bronco under the dash. They work great as they are directional and face down at your feet. The only drawback was the chrome cover came off on one of them which took a little glue and perfect!
Excellent service from the folks at E-trailer. Continue to order from them for most of my trailer and project needs. One caveat is item coming through Salt Lake City, Utah during the LDS General Conference will be significantly delayed. My items sat there for almost 3 days before making it to Southern California. Plan your future orders accordingly.
Good accent light. Black cover broke off and I glued it back on.
Beautifully made little lights, potted electronics & LED for weatherproofing. Throw off enough light to offer illumination to dark areas. Recommended.
We used this as a license plate light. Works Great
I used these as interior lights in the foot wells of my SxS and they are great. They light up the space well while the shade does not blind me.

Just got a new camper and they used a few amber clearance lights for some accent lighting, but the amber is too bright to leave on at night for the kiddos.
This new blue light is bright, but the cover keeps all the light on the floor so it doesn’t keep anyone awake at night!

The lights were delivered in a timely matter. Unfortunately the lights are very weak providing very little light.
Tested all . Appear to be as advertised except that one light was a WHITE diode when all were supposed to be blue.
