Most Popular Hitch Mount Style for 2021 Jeep Wrangler

I purchased this to flat two my 2016 Wrangler Unlimited. It was very easy to install, quick to setup when you want to use it and folds way easily when you are not using it.

I towed my '04 Jeep Wrangler with my '15 GMC 2500. Houston to Crested Butte, CO. Everything performed just like it was supposed to. The Falcon 2 was easy to connect and disconnect. I have used "ball hitch" tow bars in the past and did not trust that style for the hills, curves, back roads and long haul towing. The Falcon 2 has a vertical pivot joint just south of the receiver coupler that seems to ease the stress on hitch and tow bar. I bought from etrailer.com because of price and availability. I received it 5-6 days after placing my order. Also, I purchased a 7 pin to 6 pin molded connector cable from etrailer.com because I could not find one locally. My local options were to buy pieces to build my own cable. No thanks.

Purchased to tow my Jeep behind my Motorhome. Since I am a solo traveler, a great benefit is that this was super easy to connect and disconnect. Lights up fantastic. One dislike is that I wish there was a cleaner way to stow the cords after disconnect of it all. May need to figure out a way to wrap and lock it up securely to the hitch/bumper of my motorhome so that I don't need to remove it every time I camp.

We traveled 7,200 miles last winter pulling your 2023 2 door Jeep Wrangler and it performed Excellent. I did buy the optional cover which I think this is a wise investment to protect it when parked.

I purchased the Sterling All Terrain Tow Bar along with the EZ5 base plate kit and wiring kit for my 2015 Jeep Wrangler. Everything was easy to install and work great. Easy to set up and use.

Looks like a quality tow bar. However, I'm pretty disappointed because the ratings on it were very favorable. I just used it for the first time and it's EXTREMELY tight and difficult to get into or out of the storage position. I'm going to contact etrailer to see if there's something I can do or if it will loosen up over time. I don't want to start loosening bolts. If it stays this tight, my rating would go down to a 1.

Installed as expected as we prepared to leave our home, Disconnected with ease at the campsite. Repeated the process as we prepared to leave the campsite headed home. All facets operated as expected.

I decided to use an antique Blue Ox tow bar to pull my Mini Cooper behind our RV on a trip to Panama City beach last year. Big Mistake! If it looks questionable, don't use it. When we arrived I was extremely thankful that the Mini was still with us. The old Blue Ox bar was coming apart. I looked locally for a replacement and found one at Camping World and was shocked at the price. eTrailer had the exact same unit for hundreds and hundreds less. And they shipped it quickly right to the camp ground. The Roadmaster Falcon 2 tow bar is very easy to us and mated right up to the Blue Ox kit on the Mini. Thanks eTrailer! Easy to install and easy to use. Being newbies to the motor coach world, this tow bar is made for ease of hookup. It took less than five minutes to unhook and hook up. Love it! We did not use the base plate that came with it but chose to add the direct connect base plate with removable arms (RM-521424-5) This combination made it excellent to use!

Towing a Wrangler 4 door behind my motorhome, have gone 20K miles now and no issues, i am not using the cross bar as my vehicle mount does not require that. Due to the road dust and everything it gets quite dirty of course. It has been working well along, easy enough to connect. If you have to disconnect on a hill it gets a bit tricky to unlatch and such, but just takes practice.

I love my blue ox tow bar. Installed it myself and pull Jeep Wrangler behind our RV. Easy to hook and unhook. Pulls great, no sway or slack, like a rock.

I saved a ton of money doing this job myself. The job was not bad at all. I saved about a little over $4000 with the complete installation including tow bar, base plate and invisibrake system.

Tow bar has been flawless in over 8500 miles of travel so far. We use this on a 2DR 2015 Jeep Wrangler. Hook up and detach is quick and easy. Highly recommend if your towing a light vehicle like ours.

Great Base plate kit! Very easy to follow instructions even with my aftermarket bumper with winch. It fit perfect. The only issue I have is where the safety cables attach to the base plate….the cable connectors are too big to fit through the holes because the Jeep’s frame blocks part of the hole. See photo with red circle. I will have to get a smaller connector.

I ordered this tow bar and D ring adapters specifically for my Bronco and it’s way to sloppy and I can’t use this to tow my Bronco

Good design but poorly manufactured. Used on a single, multi-week trip: Bar stayed on the RV. Removed when we got home and the powder-coating has cracked and bar is showing rust inside and out. Chrome on extending arms is pitted and beginning to rust. Emailed etrailer but Cody informed me that I would have to ship it back at my expense without any commitment to replace! Disappointed with etrailer after years of previous purchases

Wow: uncommon these days to have anyone respond within minutes to queries but these guys are quick to respond and quick to deliver! This all done in a friendly and courteous manner A first class suppliers!

Was on the road when my 25 year old tow bar finally gave out. One call to Sheila at etrailer and I had my replacement on the way to fit my same base plates. And I got it the very next day in Ouray, Colorado where regular mail is always late. Etrailer has been consistently spot on every time I have needed anything for RVing and customer service is superb!

Towed our Jeep Wrangler JK great!

Easy to line up and lee. The attachment hold when connecting to the tow vehicle are great feature. Removes concern related to stable towing our Wrangler with our Super C.

This tow bar replaced a 10k Blue Ox that was older and lots of miles towing heavy pickup. I wanted to replace with new tow bar for piece of mind. It was important that I had a non-binding tow bar because I have a 43’ MH and tow a full size crew cab pickup and more than not at rv parks and my driveway is pickup not completely straight and 100% level behind MH. If that’s the case I struggle to release arms. Sometimes both or just one depending on angle. Even if vehicle is slightly angled I have to fight it. Description states quick disconnect even on rough terrain. If that means uneven terrain I disagree. Also, the tabs that hold arms in when not in use are a joke they are not designed for a HD tow bar. Those came loose after just a few uses. Strut boots would have been nice but not a biggie. I like that the safety cables are integrated in to arms and has an electrical cord holder. Tow bar is EZ to hookup to my pickup and tows perfect. I don’t want to be negative (to late) but I would not buy or recommend because of disconnecting issue.

The product functions as advertised. I used my towing equipment over a year to pull a 2009 Saturn Aura. I love that the tow arms don't fall to the ground once you disconnect them from the car.
