Best 2020 Ford F-250 Super Duty Hitch Adapters

It does what its supposed to do. I have a 2024 F350 and the sleeve sticks out an inch or so past the end of the receiver because of how the holes line up. I don't think that affects the functionality but would be great if it was flush.

Excellent product, very sturdy. We have been using them on our trailers for years.

We were looking for a solution to haul our utv when pulling our camper. This extender allowed us to leave the tailgate down and still have enough clearance to not damage the tailgate. Downside--this extender amplifies the amount of movement with the hitch. This is more than a simple hitch clamp could fix. I added several modifications to completely eliminate the hitch movement. We have taken several trips since the installation and no issues with pulling the trailer. We did have to extend the safety chains about 4 links. Overall a good product and it accomplished the goal. As always,etrailer personnel are knowledgeable, easy to deal with and have quick shipments.

Works as it should and I didn't have to turn my power jack on my camper 90 degrees to miss the tailgate when it is lowered!!

This ain't pretty. But size does matter. The 58102 2" X 2 1/2" receiver adapter hits the spot. It fits nicely into the 2 1/2" receiver with, at most, 1/8" space "slap" room. It's almost full length front to back inside receiver providing plenty of support for my 2" weight distribution system without slap. I have not hooked up my Forest River 29'4", 10,7 75 lb. GVWR Puma tow behind R/V but I do not have any fear of this well constructed, perfect fitting receiver adapter. The people at etrailer are there, willing and able to assist you. I have personally found that, if the C.S. Rep doesn't know the answer, she/he will find the answer and report back to you, in my case within minutes. My purchase was delivered (snail mail) within 5 days and In excellent condition. I will report back shortly after a trial run hooked up.

This fits a Curt 2 1/2 receiver perfectly. Allows me to use receiver with my various drawbars for different trailers when I am not using the Forklift hitch box extension.

I recently swapped out the stock 2" receiver for a 2-1/2" to allow me to purchase and use this extension to get past the end of my Lance 1010 Camper. I believe I will have no issues now towing any trailer (within allowable spec's) or carrying my motorcycle carrier. Great quality piece. can't wait to try it out...

Very disappointed in the packaging. It was thrown in a box with nothing else. The box was ripped on both ends on the side where the hitch busted through. Scratched up around the main hitch part. Mostly from rubbing I guess and the side that were sticking out we’re scared. I did install it anyways but if this is how they ship there products I will not buy again.

Just received the 41/48 inch hitch extension today so haven’t actually used it. However, one can tell the high quality by looking at the welds and thick paint coating. This item is extremely heavy. I expected some weight to it, but it surprised me. Also, the tubing has very tight tolerances. I have two ball mounts, neither of which slid into the extension on their own. I had to pound them in and tap them out with a 3 pound hammer. Once paint and labels were scraped away by this action the ball mounts were able to be slid in by hand. This extension will be used on my dually carrying my truck camper. I’ll be towing an aluminum trailer with a Can Am Spyder. Total weight towed will be less than 2000 pounds so I don’t expect the extension to be subjected to any stress.

Would have given this 5 stars if it weren’t for the packaging and minor shipping damage. It was just stuck in a box that was way way to large for it, no padding or anything. I’m amazed it was even still in the box all things considered. But that said the extension itself is very well made, super solid.

At first I was skeptical but now that I’ve put it together I’m very impressed. This thing is heavy duty and pulls my trailer no problem. Korren did a great job helping me out. Excellent customer service.

The larger of two packages arrived with the actual smaller Torqlift box inside. All expected parts were delivered. The upper tube fit fine. The lower tube was very tight. I first removed some of the paint near the end of the tub with little success. I have the 20k Original Torqlift hitch. I decided to file the inside of the lower receiver and this smoothed out the problem. Then I found that the two stabilizing chains were four links two long for my application. I cut them shorter and PERFECTION! I provided the detail as realistic, but minor issues happened. As shown in the photo, the 36" extension looks very solid and I'm perfectly satisfied.

Works like a champ. I’d gotten a new truck with larger receiver and obviously didn’t want to buy a new ball mount for our weight distributing hitch. Using the adapter initially hurt my head as a ‘band aid’ solution, but it worked flawlessly on a recent 2000 mile trip. Zero regrets; will never hesitate to use it.

This was just what was needed. Fits so that sleeve is even with receiver so that a hitch stabilizer/clamp will work. Nice sturdy material with high quality finish.

The hitch worked great. I pulled a 12ft Wells Cargo enclosed trailer with a motorcycle on board. The reason I purchased this hitch, I have a 101/2 ft Lance camper that extends pass the bumper. I used it on a F350. I did use a Equla-I-Zer sway control hitch because of the tongue weight of my trailer and I believe it made this extension hitch work better.

This is a quality product and works perfectly! Easy to install and adjust. They even give you extra chain and turnbuckles.

Have not had a chance to use the hitch extension as of yet but I am sure it will perform as designed. My disappointment is in the following areas: 1) The packaging was very thin and flimsy. Came torn to pieces and it is a miracle the part was not damaged more severely. 2) The harness bracket was bent and I had to bend it back into position 3) The company logo on the end of the hitch is supposed to be a cool chrome piece. It is shiny plastic and is the only thing that is not beefy on the part. I can’t wait for it to break off and just have black steel showing. Think the tool is what I will need and it is what was advertised, just disappointed in the things that were mentioned above.

Worked as it should. Fitment is super tight on my 2020 F350. I would buy this again.

Unfortunately this receiver adapter did not fit my Ford F250 3" hitch, way too tight. Worked with Arthur from e-trailer to obtain a return/refund. After looking at reviews, I see many other folks had the same issue. If I were e-trailer I would pull this item from my product offering.

Heavy duty! Excellent product but did not have the bracket for the tailight extension. Of course the box was destroyed in shipping.

Works as advertised use it with my F350, Arctic Fox 811 Camper and 14' Enclosed UTV Trailer. Peace of mind going down the Road!

This hitch extension will be the last extension you will ever buy. It worked great towing my boat behind my 2017 F-350 Dually,( I purchased the 48” cannon) my boat is about 3000 lbs. this hitch is more than capable for towing, just about anything you can pull within Your hitch limits. I have an extended deck on my camper, and I had enough room to turn 90 deg and not be close to contacting the boat. Never bottomed out on a driveway, on my last trip. Quality hardware, super easy install, might need a little help inserting It into the receiver it is “heavy” Overall glad I purchased this.

The adapter did what it advertised. With that said I ended up just buying a larger shank for my distribution hitch. With the original shank and using the adapter there was just to much slop and on bumpy roads it was starting to wallow out the hitch receiver.

Works as intended. Only issue is it doesn't have a stop to keep it from sliding all the way into the receiver.

This items works really well as the hitch I have ($300+) was for a 2" opening and my new truck has a 2.5" opening. This items bridges the gap although it does make the hitch unit extend about 1' to 1.5" further out. Not an issue if you have adequate chain length.

Love the concept. Very simple. There is a weld bead that goes down the inside. This prevented the sleeve from sliding down smoothly. I placed the item with the side down like the instructions stated and used some hammer persuation to get the adaptor down only to find that the holes for the reciever did not line up. After using a gear to pull the adaptor off and turning it over opposite of what the instructions said to do I had to persuade it down again and the holes lined up. Fits perfectlly into the 21/2 reciever, so I should be good to go if I never need to remove it.

I love the small ears on the edge that prevent this Sleeve from sliding into the 3” receiver while trying to slide in a hitch. After a year shows little signs of rust even though it has been left on the truck entire time. Of course I leave on the truck since I have a locking hitch pin.

The 4 foot hitch performed great. I bought the extra lenght to get it further behind my truck camper, I have a 3 foot hang over. The only problem was this made my 20 foot welded flat boat catch a lot of wind knocking my fuel milage way down. It also does not let my steps fold down. I should have gone with the 3 foot extension. live and learn.

Wow. Who would have believed I could have my heavy 11.5' Camper (which was well stocked, I should add) and pull a cargo trailer loaded with shop tools, workbench, and hardware. Handled well on highways through mountain passes, etc. Assembly and installation should have been much easier but the poor quality of the photos with the instructions was a bit of an impediment.

We have been using Torklift superhitch and supertruss extension since 2010 hauling horses around the US. This extension and superhitch went on our new truck. We hauled trouble and worry free for 10,000 miles this year. Best product on the market.

I can now tow a trailer with up to 600lbs. tongue weight behind my Ford truck with an 11' camper attached. It does everything they say it will do.
