Best 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Cargo Carriers

I received the cargo carrier in great condition and put together in 1.5 hrs. Instruction easy to follow. Fits excellent on 2008 Jeep and good clearance from spare tire. Was worried about that.

A good size and very strong. I like the fact that it has a grated bottom, as opposed to a few bars like many of its competitors. There are many holes and notches present for any customization desired. Also makes for a great chair to relax. I also ordered the anti-rattle pin so as to fasten this tightly to the hitch. IMO that should be included with any of these trailer-hitch-Mount accessories.

I use this on my 2022 F250, when hauling my cab over. I was able to remove the folding part and attach it straight to my hitch to get it closer to the back of the truck. It’s light weight, decently sturdy, and easy to assemble.

This thing was not fun to put together. At all. But I got fair warning about it from the reviews. I suggest a 17mm socket bit and a drill. Plan on taking it apart a couple times so don't cinch it down tight at first. Once it is put together it's a solid unit. It'll be nice for our camping trips. The light bulky stuff that took up precious real estate can now ride outside.

I ordered the Curt, 60x24x6 hitch carrier. It arrived in two days. It's pretty burly and as advertised. Can't wait to start using it.

Great cargo rack! Well made and strong. We modified ours to carry our ebikes on top of our generator and cooler. We've been from coast to coast with no problems.

We needed this to replace the spare tire carrier on our R-pod180 so that we could carry our Generac iQ2000 generator and a 18 gallon "turd tank". Assembly was straightforward and the product appears to be well made. We chose this particular item because it was fairly light in weight and fit in the R-pod's 1-1/4" receiver. I would recommend this product.

Once it was together, I really liked it. It wasn’t that easy to put together and it required metric tools which I had to search for. It worked well and it was very useful.

I’m totally psyched this came earlier than expected. We are going on a trip next weekend with our Jeep Wrangler to Barnstable Beach out in Cape Cod. It took maybe half hour 45 minimum to put together and was very easy. After assembling of course I had to see how it fit and couldn’t be any happier it is perfect. I have an oversized tire and had concerns of it fitting past the spare tire but thankfully Etrailer has the measurements online and I took measurement prior to ordering. I just have one problem my spare tire is big so it doesn’t let the rack fold up enough to allow pin in to secure it in the upward position but I can easily modify and drill the hole a little bigger, I literally need 1/8 - 1/16 of an inch to get pin in. I guess I could try letting air out of spare tire that may work. I can’t wait to try it out it will definitely make a huge difference in packing up the Jeep. This is a great cargo carrier with a lot of room, not too happy with the price. We are using this to transport wheelchairs and walkers. We can carry two wheelchairs and a rollater plus rugs, chairs, etc. The top is a clam shell that opens and closes easily once the latches are released. A couple things could be better. The very long power cable that brings power to the license plate light and brake lights has lots of slack when the carrier is not extended, but no way to control it. I've been looking for a spring that I could use to retract the power cable, yet give it some slack when the carrier is pulled out. The other thing is the pair of "locks" that apparently lock the carrier. The locks are flimsy and are not much more than another set of fasteners and would keep out only the most casual thief. Also, the lock between the carrier and the vehicle is very hard to reach, for both locking and unlocking; fortunately, the lock part can be pushed onto the rod while locked. A cable would be easier to deal with but would rattle while driving.

The MegaWarrior is a great Roof Rack. The only thing I didn’t like was the fit to the roof rails. My rails that I purchased from you are shaped like aircraft wings and the basket clamps seem to be designed for round rails. However I was able to complete the attachment and the rack remained secure for a 2,000 mile trip.

the good: strong. lots of anchor points. secure once assembled. gaps between bars are small, stuff doesn't slip through and hit my roof. reasonably priced. mounts securely. on and off relatively easily. holds a good amount of cargo. weight limit is more than my roof can handle anyway. the bad: assembly is a pain and didn't fit exactly. small rust spots developing. heavy. plastic wind deflector cracked from a rock. lots of wind noise driving at high speeds. overall. i recommend this basket. had some assembly issues because the two pieces didn't fit into each other easily, one side is slightly off-center. wish the plastic wind deflector was metal instead. i've used it several times and have no real issues with it.

I purchased this for my daughter who has a very active lifestyle. She has driven cross country and goes camping with friends. She absolutely loves this roof rack. It was easy to mount and easy to load.

Perfect sized box for carry sized luggage and softball game day gear. Proven space saver. Receiver is showing signs of rust otherwise would be a ten. Would buy again.

Overall it's a great box. Love how much room it has and it's easy access. Slides out so van's rear doors open completely. Brake and turn lights improve visibility. Not waterproof but generally things stay dry. A couple of minor things: hole for lock was too close to the edge and pulled out so I drilled one on each front corner (more secure) - metal stays keep sliding out. I need to glue them in. I definitely would buy again.

The reason I bought this basket is due to gas prices. I have a 4X4 suburban I use for camping and hunting but it takes a small loan to fill up the tank. Actually this basket cost less than it does to fill it up. So my thought was if i can get all my gear on my daily driver then i could save some money and maybe even sale the burb. So i gave it a shot last weekend. The rack was easy to put together. I had it out of the box and on the roof in under 30 minutes. As you can see in the pic, i have a rather large ice chest, chain saw, 6 man tent, gas stove and my chair on the roof. My camping destination was about 3 hours away. First was a hour of highway driving at speeds around 70. No issues there. Then 2 hours of windy back roads. No issues there either. The basket made it possible for me and my two kids to load up in the car and head to the hills for three days. The plus for me was it only takes 50$ to fill up the car. :-) I had the max weight in this basket with no issues. I'm very happy with this basket.

Initial quality was excellent and assembly a snap. Finding a roof basket that wouldn't look like a tiny hat on a Jeep Commander was difficult, but the MegaWarrior is perfect! Assembly and mounting took less than an hour and it looks great. Now it just needs to be outfitted with a set of off-road lights. ;-)

Don't recommend this product for anyone wanting to transport a bike over 250lbs. It's two separate pieces bolted together, and after setup I didn't feel confident in its ability to hold my Honda ct110 just by the look of it. The bike's wet weight is 203lbs, and when I mounted my bike to this unit it didn't feel sturdy at all. The photos I included show where the four bolts easily started to concave, I didn't feel like I was over tightening. So, beware of this if you do get this product. After I knew this wasn't the product for me I did try contacting their customer service to see what they could do, but didn't hear back from them at all. So without any hope for a resolution, this ended up being donated to the local goodwill. Hope this helps others think twice about purchasing.

Survived multiple trips with my Svartpilen. I have thick offroad tires that do not sit down in the channels well, but most won't have that issue.

Put this on an 2023 Rav 4 Hybrid- Easy to put together. You might need two people to get it up on top. Strong. Will create some wind noise after install. Solid build and construction.

I only use the roof rack for vacations because they make cars so small on the interior now a days. It handles quite a bit of luggage. Including two big size luggage and two small is how I travel. Make sure to get water proof covers and good straps. I stopped every 3 hours to make sure load was secure and drove over 700 miles without any issues. The rack will make whistle noise because of the wind passing through the bars but I just toned it out and blasted the radio . The product is great and sturdy easy on and easy off. My only complaint is putting on the wind guard. I couldn’t figure it out because the instructions have poor information on the wind plate. Also it took two deliveries to receive the product due to my first delivery being opened/ repackaged and missing parts like keys. I returned it and got the product in a new package with no more issues. Customer service was very helpful also and communication was well organized. Make sure to order well in advance just incase you might have to send the product back because of packaging issues. Also product is easy to store without disassembly of the rack rails. I put it in my garage and it takes up no space. I hope this review helps someone. Thank you

I’ve got several 1400+ mile trips with this on both a 2017 4Runner and a 2023 Kia Sportage. The basket is well made, easy to install, very solid and so far rust free.
