Best 2019 Ford Ranger Trailer Hitch Ball Mounts

The hitch was very easy to install, took about 30 min. It fits perfectly to my 2001 Ford Ranger. The tow bar is very sturdy and is very well made! The delivery was fast, I ordered it on a Monday, and it arrived on Friday. I would most DEFINETLY recommend this to anyone who is considering this for a tow bar.

I had a hard time deciding on the amount of drop and the length of the hitch ball. The etrailer website provides sufficient information to allow an educated selection. I found this ball mount to fit easily inside a 2" receiver without too much free play. The hole placement gave just the amount of extension I wanted so that I can walk around the truck without banging my shins yet still have sufficient room to allow the trailer to be hitched easily.

Great hitch I have it on a 2006 2500hd, 6 inch lift and 35" tires. My trailers ride level, and the hitch is strong. No complaints about the hitch, and it has held up to abuse. I recommend this hitch if you have a lifted truck.

Solid piece made in USA. Haven’t towed with it yet. Great phone service. Quick shipping. Impressed by how well the drop hitch arrived, many times small dense items don’t fair well in transit. Due to double box plus great heavy box and extra attachments to the box this arrived great. Clearly etrailer has this down.

If you trailer the same load, you will notice the difference right away

We bought this to tow our 3,000 lbs. boat with our Subaru Ascent with a 5,000 lbs. towing capacity. With the OEM ball mount, we could really feel every jolt and jiggle from hard stops, going over bumps in the road, and trailering down dirt roads. However, the dual cushion ball has really improved our trailing experience. Once we get up to speed, we hardly notice we are towing our boat. It's also great because some of the lakes we visit are down dirt roads, and the cushion makes this a much more pleasant experience. I would highly recommend this to anyone towing a boat or larger trailer with a SUV as it maintains that comfortable ride and the jostling of the trailer is much less noticeable.

A year has passed with my Convert-A-Ball Dual-Cushioned, Adjustable Ball Mount and I have nothing but praise for this mount. Once you find the correct height to have a perfectly level trailer there's no need to adjust. The beauty lies in the cushioning! Towing a Yamaha AR190 (3200lb boat and trailer combo) is silent. Even over the bumpiest pavement the tow is smooth. There is no harsh slamming when braking or taking off from the boat ramp. I don't know why everyone isn't running one of these, I wouldn't run any other hitch mount PERIOD! If you're on the fence, get off and buy one, you will NOT regret it!

Very pleased with product, looks awesome on my lifted 01 Ford Superduty F-350. This 10 inch drop allowed me to keep my trailer level when hauling my 4 wheeler. Just in time for opening day.

Product looks and feels great. Only reason it got a 4/5 is because a truck driver friend of mine told me that he had one and the shank wore down from rubbing on steel bc of the aluminum on steel receiver contact. I might rig up a thin steel collar for it to prevent any degradation down the road. Works great on my truck with 7 inches of lift and 35" tires. Buy the Andersen Stainless steel locking pins for it so it doesn't walk off. New pins have better corrosion resistance and are less easily picked by thieves than standard barrel locks, plus they match the look.

Both connecting lock n roll products are a great addition to my project roof top tent, utility, kayak mounted, Solar energy equipped overland adventure trailer. Not only has my travel range increased due to this go anywhere upgrade, but my trailer security and its value has increased also. I am a very happy customer. So.e fab work may be necessary.

Sturdy and feels strong / heavy. Love it, except for the part when I forget it is behind the van and run into it :)) Not pleasant. Easy to install and the drop is just right for my trailer. Before I used to have to raise the tongue all the way to the top of the jack, now it feels like it is just there. The trailer seems to be well balanced now.

After balking at the cost to have an auto-shop add a trailer to our Toyota Highlander, we found etrailer.com and decided to take a chance. The "how to" videos factored considerably in our decision to buy ... they made it look so easy! And surprise! It really -WAS- that easy. We used standard block-type ramps (the kind you can buy for $40 ) to get the SUV up off the ground high enough to get underneath to do the work. Everything came off as easy as it was showed in the videos. Other than the fact this bar is a heavy so we had our teen daughter help hold it steady while we bolted it into place (i.e., get help for when you go to lift it), it went super smooth. I move lots of small and medium sized trailers and I never know what it will be when I arrive at the job. Pull the cross pin and rotate the ball to 2" or 1-7/8" without having move the vehicle. This really is a great piece of kit!

After one year I'd love hitch. Exactly what I needed some pool might load level. Very strong in the powder coating is actually holding up for a change.

Received the Class II Drawbar 5-1/2" Rise or 6" Drop - BM96 in a timely manner. The rise was what I was looking for to use with my Polaris ATV 570 since its standard receiver is 1-1\4 hitch and sits low to the ground. This was just the right height to pull my john boat behind the ATV.

The ball mount is just what I needed but I think the packaging could have been stronger. One end was ripped open.

We sold our small motor home and purchased a small travel trailer. This hitch provided a perfect solution to how to use our bike rack while towing the trailer. It even allows room for the pickup tailgate to be lowered without removing the bikes from the rack. The hitch is very hefty with a high weight limit - plenty for the GVW of the trailer (7,000#) plus 125# of rack and bikes.

This has been an amazing multipurpose ball mount. We purchased this to use with our Hollywood Bike Rack and also to connect onto our boat. We weren't sure if this would work, but it was awesome. It is very well built and We had to make some minor adjustments to the position of our boat on the trailer so the turning radius of the bike rack that was attached would clear the truck. This is very well made and solid.

I purchased the entire hitch package (hitch, and all needed accessories ) for a 1993 Ranger 4.0, 2wd. Price was good, but I was a little sad I missed a good sale by only 2 days....Oh well. Everything shipped fast, arrived well packaged, very well that is. Everything in my order, in one large box complete with handles. About half of the stuff was made in the USA the other China, but was happy to see the large items made here. Not installed yet but anticipate no issues. Quality appears to be excellent.

The welding splatter found its way to the hitch pin hole and it took me some time with a Dremel to clean it out so the hitch pin would slide in.

Each edge of the hitch receiver shipping carton was pierced by mounting brackets, but no damage fortunately. Consider adding another layer of cardboard padding?

Really longer than I expected. Not wanting to screw up my new hitch with this extra long tow bar. I will be returning very soon.

Excellent product! With the three different ball sizes, this tri-ball mount gives you a lot of flexibility. Gone are the days of having several different ball mounts to fit different tongues. High quality construction makes this an excellent investment.

This item should solve the problem I have had with a stainless 3-way ball when I tried to reverse the position on the ball mount. The threads galled between the hex nut and hitch ball.

Mistakenly ordered the 2.5 inch receiver instead of the 2 inch. Ashley replaced the receiver within 2 days! Outstanding service! I will continue to use etrailer.com!

Great American made product! Their 2.5 to 2in sleeve is made in China though!

To be honest, I use it upside down. I needed a hitch with rise, but none were available at time of purchase, and yours, inverted, works perfectly! The welds are regularly checked and remain all secure. It's a good hitch.

Working in the sand and grass of my driveway my wife and I installed our new etrailer receiver hitch. Great fit and finish! Went right on as described in the online guide. Hitch required a spacer washer on top back bolt attachment point. Taped it on so it would not move while lifting in place and it stayed right there! Used a car jack to raise up and hold the hitch into the underside of the trunk tighten the bolts and reattached the tail pipe done. Now we can pull our Sunfish Sailboat any where the car will go.
