Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - Worm Gear - Loop Drive - Ceiling Mount - 1,500 lbs
I purchased two of the DL10954 units to hang a Kayak and Paddleboard above my vehicle in my garage. The units were heavy duty, much more than I expected. I have added some pictures of my installation. Now anyone in the family can lower them and get to them when needed. Thanks Mark
I am only using this to lift 150-200 lbs, taking a topper off and on my truck. It works great, but I switched the loop for a hex drive. A bit of warning, I managed to burn up the motor on a $200 Ridgid 18V drill. For some reason I didn't have issues with my cheaper Ridgid drill, but still something to be aware of.

Fulton F2 Fully Enclosed, 2-Speed Trailer Winch with Adjustable Handle - 3,200 lbs
Just got my F2 2- speed winch mounted a couple of days ago. It was easy to mount. It was more difficult to remove the old winch than it was to install the new one. Haven’t had a chance to use it at the boat landing yet but it seems like it will work well. Unable to give a rating since I haven’t actually used it yet.
I added the Fulton F2 to my 1994 Mastercraft Prostar Trailer and it fit beautifully, and with room to spare. People may say that a 3,200 lbs pulling winch is overkill for a boat whose dry weight is 2,600 lbs but I live on a lake with a terribly steep ramp, so I usually need to finish cranking her up while on land so, I naturally, I needed a little more oomph! Note that when the drum is full, all winch's pulling capacity decrease. The F2 has a pulling capacity of 1,600 lbs when the drum is full, which is usually where I need the power - to move the boat that last 12". The gears come pre-lubricated, since it's an enclosed design with hefty cast aluminum, I see why this winch has a lifetime warranty; it's built to last. In my opinion, the double hub design just makes sense. Usually I want to leave my boat in the lake as long as possible, now I can't wait to take it out just so I can try this winch.

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - 2 Speed - Direct Drive - 3,200 lbs
Super beefy and after a years worth of use it still works as good as the day it was installed. I went a lot bigger then the factory winch on my trailer and I am glad I did. This thing drags my boat up without breaking a sweat.
I’m using two of these on a floating dock that fluctuates seasonally due to TVA water release during the winter. They hold plenty of cable & are heavy duty enough to move the dock as needed.

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - Worm Gear - Hex Drive - 2,000 lbs
Works perfectly. I’m using the winch to lift a heavy (100 lb) cast iron effluent pump. The pump occasionally needs to have float switches replaced and the winch makes this job much easier.
Fantastic, well built, expected to see cheap socket welded onto the handle, nope, instead there was welded a quality 5/8" "PROTO" socket.. impressive! Just what I needed.

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - Worm Gear - Hex Drive - 1,500 lbs
I am building a setup to raise and lower an ameteur radio tower. Purchased a winch from a hardware chain store, it looked just like yours and was $25 cheaper. It was rated for 2000lbs, but stripped out at only 200lbs and left my hanging with tower raise only 30 degrees, yes I had a scale on one of the cables. Replaced with your product today, it didn't even strain, even though it is rated for 500 lbs less. Lesson learned. Great product and btw I've had the same winch installed on another tower for years, has worked flawlessly.
Just received the winch! Excellent quality from first blush. Will have to wait a week or two before I can test its lifting capability. I have installed it in a wall position, using cable and pulleys attached to the ceiling to lift something up next to the ceiling occasionally.

Dutton-Lainson Hand Winch - TUFFPLATE Finish - 2 Speed - Direct Drive - 2,000 lbs
Installation was simple. I haven’t pulled the boat out yet with the new winch but it should be better than the 1600 lb one that was there.
This is the first boat trailer winch I've owned that I believe is heavy duty enough for my boat. My suggestion to anyone shopping for a boat winch is to buy one much larger than the ratings say. That being said, I love this winch and would highly recommend it.

Fulton Single Speed Trailer Winch - 7" Long Handle - 20' Strap - Zinc - 1,100 lbs
it arrived quickly, and it was just what we needed.
This isn't my first winch like this and I love the first one as much as I'm sure I will this one. It is so smooth on releasing that I can easily pull out the strap I need and my first one was mounted on a boat trailer. This one was mounted on a 14 foot utility trailer that I use often. I made the mount for a moose hunt and wish I had this winch at the time. However, I have an offset smoker on wheels and haul it with this trailer and I positive this winch is going to be A LOT better than the one I had. The boat trailer sure is!!

Pro Series Standard Brake Winch - Cable Only - 1,500 lbs
Shipped promptly - with etrailer email notifications along the way Product exactly as described - gear teeth lubed - good quality - used as upgrade from the old reversible latch style winch for a non-trailer related homemade winch and boom and used two of these units, one to raise the boom arm and one to lift the load
The product is as advertised. The real star is the customer service at etrailer. Within a few hours of placing my order, I was contacted by a representative who informed me that the product that I had ordered would not be available for shipping for a week. I was told that there was a substitute that could be shipped immediately. I chose to stay with my original order. 6 days later, I received a confirmation email notifying me that my shipment was on the way. I prefer to be told when there's a delay rather than being kept in the dark.

Fulton Single Speed Trailer Winch - 7" Long Handle, 12' Strap - Zinc - 900 lbs
The usual good Fulton quality and very fast shipping by Etrailer. This winch is a little low on maximum lbs rating at 900 lbs, but I knew that before ordering. All I really needed was the wide offset handle, not sold separately. I'll use the offset handle and the 12 foot winch strap on my present 1400 lb Fulton winch, and keep the bare 900 lb unit for use on a future project.
Works well used it for a year now for my pwc.

Excellent service, items were well packed, install straight forward. Works great!
The winch has held it's finish. no rust noted after a year. Mine is mounted to an antenna pole to lift the 25' mast. Nice addition to my project.

Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Winch - Marine - 3,000 lbs
Shopped around a lot before I bought this. My boat is heavy (7500 lb) and the wench I had struggled. I took a chance on this as it was rated for the weight. I used the Anderson style connectors and installed a breaker near the battery. Pulled new wire rated for the amp draw. I couldnt be happier! This thing is a beast! Has no prob pulling my boat and cant see that it struggles at all. Highly reccomend. Photo is during installation. I put a cover over it due to my anchor comes close when launching and didnt want it to hit.
Installed cables. 35A breaker is not insulated and required additional cable to connect to modern battery terminal - so had to buy an insulated breaker. On first use, the small gear on the motor drive shaft fell off because it was installed at the factory without a snap ring. Luckily I found it and fashioned a snap ring for temporary use to load the boat (see picture). Then learned the clutch was set excessively low - would not pull anything close to 1000 pounds. Manual says to not adjust clutch more than 20 degrees, but that would not pull as much as a 2000 lb ratchet strap. I see the other good reviews on this product, but clearly mine was built with some serious QC issues. Hard day on the boat ramp. Grateful for the help and patience of fellow boaters. I am beyond the 60 days to return this product since I bought and installed it over the winter to enjoy this boating season.

Fulton 2-Speed Trailer Winch - 10" Long Handle - 20' Strap - Zinc - 3,200 lbs
After two weeks of waiting this is how it arrived. If you going to use USPS to ship I will consider other retailers.
Excellent upgrade from the wimpy one which came with the trailer. Great for my lousy shallow ramp, back in such that the boat nests in the bunks and let the torque from this thing easily drag the boat up to the stop.

Dutton-Lainson StrongArm Electric Trailer Winch - Marine - 1,500 lbs
I had to grind a little bit off the gussets on the mounting plate on my Tracker trailer to mount the winch but the bolt pattern was perfect. The electric cable that was provided with the winch wasn't quite long enough for my 4 door F150 so I used my wife's Explorer with the cable provided and got a longer cable and fuse for my pickup and then put a plug at the rear of both vehicles and a plug to the winch so I can use either vehicle. The winch pulled our 16'Tracker boat up on the trailer easily and I discovered you had tighten the gear locking mechanism quite snug or it would slip. I noticed the pulling belt on the winch is not quite as heavy as the one on my hand winch and I plan on swapping it out. Other than that, I am happy with my purchase.
Works great! The only thing that would make it better is to make the tensioner knob easier to grip when your hands are wet

Fulton High-Performance 2-Speed Trailer Winch with Handbrake - Cable Only - Zinc - 3,700 lbs
Upon inspection of winch, came in good shape, well packaged delivered to our customer, thank you
Winch is very heavy duty and well coated with zinc. Handle can be removed and inserted in the low or high speed with a push of a button. Great winch. However, the brake lever is in a bag with a few hardware parts which must be assembled to the winch. I thought the brake lever would already be assembled to the winch. The e-clip (or wave washer as the instructions call it) that holds the brake lever in place broke when trying to clip it on. I had to run to an auto parts store 10 miles away to buy a new e-clip as I was in the middle of installation. If the brake lever had already been installed I would have given the winch five stars.

Dutton-Lainson TW4000 StrongArm Electric Winch - Marine - 1,500 lbs
Put this winch on my Ranger 620 boat trailer a year ago and love it! Haven't had a single problem and it helps trailering when I fish alone. I ran power and ground from my truck battery to a back bumper plug, and have a separate removable cable (shown in pic) to connect truck plug to the winch plug. Grounding to the truck didn't work for me. I have another spare cable and plug rolled up and attached to my trolling motor battery for when my buddies drive. Winch prevents power loading and drawing sand into the motor. DL24055 adapter plate was needed and I put a coupler lock up through the middle of the winch to prevent theft and I bought a cover (shown in pic) to keep the rain out. etrailer sales and support are absolutely fabulous! They helped me figure all this out.
Works great, fit my trail weight boat trailer, with a 24 foot pontoon

Fulton XLT 2-Speed Trailer Winch with Heavy Duty 20' Strap - Zinc - 2,600 lbs
I purchased this Fulton (142418) XLT 2-Speed (2,600lbs) to replace the original Fulton XLT 1401(1,400 lbs) winch on my Sanger V230 boat trailer. Our winch was hit and the metal housing was bent, but still useable. Unfortunately, the strap got stuck in the gears because the metal housing no longer correctly guided the strap (which was getting old) and it started to tear. I researched several and due to possible mounting restrictions with others, I settled on this one. The installation wasn't difficult, but it would have been nice to have some sort of instructions for a starting point. I found an online video, but it didn't actually show the install. A little fumbling around and it was installed in about 30 minutes. This one is a bit bigger than the old one, but it fit with no problems or need to drill any additional holes (which I really wanted to avoid). The only negative I have with this winch is the strap release/wind lever on the bottom. When it is engaged to bring the strap in, the lever is almost fully retracted inside of the plastic housing. This may not be an issue for some...but I have long nails and getting that lever (especially if there is any tension on the strap) out isn't as easy as on my old one. Other than that, it's a great replacement product and we are happy with it thus far. The product arrived in time to save my daughter's 15th birthday weekend with her friends! Website had the information and pictures I needed to make my decision, and great customer service! Thank you!
Excellent winch, very very happy. Thanks for quick shipping and excellent customer service support!!

2-Speed Boat Trailer Winch with 20' Strap and Brake - 3,200 lbs
Five stars..purchased this winch to minimize effort to haul in my 18ft Fourwinns when the trailer angle/submergence makes for a tougher reloading. The two speeds allow for an easier retrieval when winching the boat onto the trailer. Literally cranking takes half the effort to retrieve my boat. The foot print of mounting on my existing winch stand was easy, required drilling a few extra holes to secure, but is solidly mounted using only 3 bolt/nuts. I also camouflaged painted the winch to offset the “new shiny” appearance against theft when trailer is parked at the marina’s.
Well at first i was a little concerned because the factory container box was mangled. The shipping box was fine. It seemed ok. Installed and seems to be fine
What our customers are saying:
"The lights are great! Only wish I had them installed today. I'll be back, Thanks for a quality product at a very reasonable price."
