Pro Series Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2006 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2006 Honda CR-V, we're going to be test fitting the Pro Series Q-Slot Platform-Style Two Bike and Four-Bike Rack for 2" Hitches, part number PS63138. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. Right now, we have it in the four-bike configuration, but you can remove this end section here to convert this to just two bikes as well. How it grips your bike into place, we're going to have three points of contact. We'll have this padded frame hook up at the top, which is padded to make sure your bike itself doesn't get scratched up once it's being installed. We have hook-and-loop straps on each wheel and in the wheel cradle to hold this in place. The wheel cradles are adjustable by loosening and tightening these knobs, which will now enable you to fit bikes of different sizes as well as accommodate loading and unloading of bikes as well. Let's go ahead and take the bike off and set it aside.

Hollywood Racks Sport-Rider-2 Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2006 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2006 Honda CRV, we're going to be test-fitting the Hollywood Racks Sports Rider 2-bike rack for inch-and-a-quarter and two-inch hitches, part number HR1000. We already have a bike installed on the rack. Let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. A big feature about this bike rack is the fact that it can tilt away from the vehicle with the bike still attached to gain rear hatch access. To do that, we remove these two pins here at the base. We remove the smaller one first while holding on to the bike rack, and we'll remove the top pin, and it comes down like so. Unfortunately, with this model CRV, you can't open it all the way without making contact with the bike or bike rack first, but you do have some space to get the things you need inside.

Yakima SwingDaddy Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2006 Honda CR-V

Today on our 2006 Honda CRV we're going to be test fitting the Yakima Swingdaddy 4-Bike Rack for 2 Inch Hitches, part number Y42464. We already have a bike on our rack, let's take a closer look and show off some of the features. The cradles themselves are stationary but have this super cush material so your bike's frame won't get scratched up when it's being installed. It will grip your bike at three points. We're going to have two zip strips up at the top and one off to the size, which is going to serve as an anti-sway cradle to keep the bike from moving too far back and forth. We also have two bottle openers on the ends of each arms. And up at the front here we do have a wheel strap around our front bike and that's to keep the bike tire itself from possibly making contact with the vehicle as well.
