The tow bar is excellent quality and simple to install. Connecting and disconnecting are a breeze. I had the old style tracker tow bar, but had to upgrade for a heavier vehicle. It fits well on a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee.
One year ago I purchased the equipment to tow my Jeep Grand Cherokee 4 flat behind my motorhome from etrailer. I received the items within 4 days, and was able to do the install myself thanks to the fantastic instructional videos provided by etrailer. I have towed it from Iowa to Colorado, and several shorter trips. It is easy to hook up/unhook and tows fantastic. I went with the Roadmaster Sterling tow bar as well as the roadmaster crossbar with removable arms. I would HIGHLY recommend this setup! I also put the roadmaster diode wiring set in the Jeep to use the tail lights. Works flawless! I have used etrailer for several items and have always been completely satisfied. Easy to hook up our toad ( Jeep ). I can connect or disconnect in about 2 minutes all while standing. Stays right behind our RV and you only know its back there when you look in the rear view mirror. I would buy this again.

We've been towing our Jeep Grand Cherokee for about 8 months now with this tow bar and it's worked flawlessly! We've been places where the coach and Jeep are not perfectly aligned putting the attaching pins in a bind, but with a simple release of the handle it would release the arm and unbind the pin. Super easy to use. I highly recommend the Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding tow bar. OH! The LED lights along the arm make it look great too!!
THis towbar has been excellent at towing my Jeep Grand Cherokee behind my Class A RV. Only complaint I have is the location of the wiring harness, it has been pinched during tight turns a couple time, but that is also on me for doing those turns.

This is great and easy to use. Instalation was easy. You can attach my Jeep Grand Cherokee in minutes. It is just as easy to disconnect.
I've used this setup for a year towing a 2023 Jeep Wrangler . I 100% recommend it for anyone else. Under normal conditions it is very easy. Under stressful conditions (bad weather, uneven terrain, need to connect/disconnect quickly) it is a life saver. I am 63 and I can connect/disconnect this in 5 minutes.

Good design but poorly manufactured. Used on a single, multi-week trip: Bar stayed on the RV. Removed when we got home and the powder-coating has cracked and bar is showing rust inside and out. Chrome on extending arms is pitted and beginning to rust. Emailed etrailer but Cody informed me that I would have to ship it back at my expense without any commitment to replace! Disappointed with etrailer after years of previous purchases
We love our etrailer SD tow bar. Much lighter than our previous Blue Ox. The non binding feature along with the integral safety cables and multiple storage options are great features. We use it in conjunction with a NSA Ready Brake. Great combination. Our current coach is a 2017 Jayco Seneca 37HJ. Toad is a Ford C-Max Hybrid. Easiest to use tow bar we have ever owned.

I'm not sure there could be anything better for the tow bar to do. I love the ease of hooking and unhooking in less then 2 min. and the cable holder for the light hookup cable and air hookup so they can't drag on the ground. The release levers work great for taking the tension off the bars to unhook and the storage of the tow bar on the back of the RV works great. All and All I could be happier

1st tow bar I had to send back, due to chip powder coating. 2nd two bar came a week later Great job etrailer. It was easy to do a return and get a replacement. etrailers whole team was great getting me what I wanted. I replaced a 10-year-old tow bar and wanted to replace it with their new XHD you can tell its LBS is higher than my old tow bar.
