I bought this product along with the trailer hitch and wiring harness. No issues with anything provided. I installed the kit on a Saturday and was towing a trailer 800 miles on Monday. Great website, I highly recommend Etrailer to anyone needing trailer items and accessories.

This is very good quality. The product was shipped a express shipping at no extra cost to me. I had indicated standard shipping. But the company on its own did the express shipping. The product is very durable and well made. The canvass bag that comes with the product is sturdy and able to hold all of the items with no problems. I found this company by just hitting what size receiver for my 2015 Ford Explorer. Other then that I didn't know about them. A terrific company in which to do business with. Good fit into the receiver. The hols for the ball was a little larger than I expected, so will have to get a new one.

I purchased this Curt Ball mount 10-1/4" because I also bought ball hitch mounted mud flaps and my existing hitch was too short.This hitch was maybe a little too long, but it should work.I hope this combination will protect my horse trailer from my nasty gravel roads!

With good information from the website it was easy to order a Curt 2" Trailer Hitch, the Upgraded Circuit Protected Tail Light Converter Hardwire Kit w/ 4-Pole Connector and Circuit Tester - 119178KIT, Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches (3/4" Rise, 2" Drop - 10-1/4" Long - 7,500 lbs - D-4), Curt Pin and Clip Hitch Receiver - C21500, Rubber Tube Cover for 2" Trailer Hitch Receivers - I-728,Review, and 2" hitch ball 40038. Parts were delivered earlier than the initial estimate. Self installation (on a sloped drive way) took just under 2 hour. The fit of parts was very good, instructions and on-line video's were very helpful. My Kia did not have the wire plug in option, but the splice connections in the wire kit were easy to install. Most of the parts are hidden from view when the ball mount is not used.

This was purchased for towing a 7k GTWR utility/landscape trailer with my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 WT 4x4. I measured for necessary drop before ordering, and the 4" drop is darn near perfect. It's a great help that the 2-5/16" ball comes complete, installed and torqued properly at the factory. Appears to be quality construction, fits and functions perfectly. I have no complaints or issues.

WHat a difference having the right drop has on handling. A great product - highly reocmmend.

Retail type stores only carry mainstream items so when I needed a special length ball mount for my 2011 Traverse I found the size and quality with Curt Products .

Everything arrived on time and well packaged. I installed a Curt hitch receiver to go with this ball mount. Installation for the hitch went exactly as described and was fairly simple for even a novice like me. Very pleased with etrailer.com and with Curt brand products in general. I bought the 1 7/8 and 2 inch combo so that switching between the two is as easy as pulling a pin. However, I didn't realize that I had to install the ball. I had to find someone with a wrench and torque wrench big enough to do it. Otherwise, excellent quality as usual from E-Trailer.

I cannot use this ball mount because the shaft is too short that goes into hitch receiver on my one ton Dodge truck. It does not allow enough room between truck back bumper and ball to allow any trailer tongue to be put on ball.

I purchased this for use with a friction anti sway device I installed on an enclosed V nose trailer. It worked well.
