Question:

looks like the yakima has 51 inch wheel base. most others have 48 inch from what Im seeing. Wife has a very long and heavy electric bike that Id like for her to be able to load by herself. I did not see a picture or video of how the ramp attaches or works with this model. Any chance to get a video or picture of how ramp would work? Is it included? or separate? How is it stored or attached to rack when travelling? or is it something you need to put in the vehicle Need to be able to carry two bikes. Your recommendation and assistance is appreciated. Ive purchased from etrailer in the past and like your selection and service.

The Yakima StageTwo Bike Rack for 2 Bikes # Y47VR is a wonderful new option from Yakima that can handle up to 2 bikes weighing 60 lbs each and you can definitely get the Loading Ramp # Y39VR to make loading/unloading much easier.

We currently (March 2022) don't have a video of these 2 parts together but I'm linking the instructions for the ramp as well as a clip for you to check out. Basically there is a slit at the rear-tire-end of each tray that the hooks of this ramp fit into and keep it into place. The ramp will need to be stored inside the vehicle and can be collapsed to 38-3/4" long to do so.
