Question:

What method do you recommend using for carrying bikes with my 2021 Model 3? I see there is a hitch, roof rack, and trunk mount options but i'm not sure which one is the best.

The absolute best way to carry bikes on any vehicle is with a hitch because you'll have access to more bike rack options, the bike racks will be easier to install, and you'll have an easier time loading up your bikes on a hitch rack as opposed to on your roof or on a trunk mount option.

For your 2021 Tesla Model 3 I recommend installing the Stealth Hitches trailer hitch which comes as part # 391TES317 if you plan on only using it for a bike rack, or the part # 391TES317T which includes the correct ball mount and wiring if you planned on doing some towing down the road.

Since you don't yet have a bike rack I recommend checking out the Yakima StageTwo Bike Rack # Y47VR. This is one of my new favorite bike racks because of the amount of thought that Yakima put into the design. This is definitely one of the higher-end bike racks, but that's because it has easy-to-use features, bike and rack locks, and a variety of extra add-ons that you can get to better fit your lifestyle:
